I just got to this point on my current playthrough. You're wrong on both accounts. Andre is an enemy in both chapter 4 and 5. Mahnya is neutral in chapter 4, and does not have Holy Blood.

My mistake. I guess I last played on an altered ROM.

Vier is the only one of the twelve dark warlords that doesn't have pursuit. In addition, the dark warlords are the only characters in the game who have the Life skill, and they only have seven different citizen skills between them: Pursuit, Continue, Charge, Critical, Wrath, Life and Prayer (and only Vier has prayer). If you get unlucky, Neun can ORKO anyone who doesn't have Nihil by getting a Continue - Critical*2 activation off. Asides from Nihilers, only a 29 DEF, 79 or 80 HP Altenna with the Gae Bolg could survive this.

An Eltoshan critical does 52*2 damage - 104 mt. Impossible to survive? Not quite. Sigurd with 80 HP and 22 DEF (max), plus the defence ring, survives with 3 HP left. Cuan with 80 HP and 23 DEF (max), plus the defence ring, survives with 4 HP left. Nobody else could possibly survive it - and for them to get 80 HP means getting +2 HP on 20/25 levels with a 10% chance (20/26 with a 10% chance for Cuan). Holyn, the only other >100% HP growth character in first gen, could survive if he reached 78 HP. His max is 76. Ardan comes next closest, and at max stats he has 63 HP, 27+5 DEF. Not enough to survive, by 9 HP.

The only person who can take one hit from Max STR Holyn!Lakche with a STR ring and a 50+kill Hero Sword if Moonlight and Critical activates at the same time is CH10 Yurius due to effects from his tome. However, he'll probably get KO'd the next hit due to auto-continue and Lakche's very high crit rates. (85 max without lover/sibiling supports) 27+5 STR +10 MT = 42 ATK. Multiply that by two, you get 84. HP caps at 80.

Also works with Holyn!Ska and Holyn himself, though Holyn having a 50+kill weapon is very, very unlikely unless you hack.

The only way to completely prevent that from happening is to have Nihil.

Holyn!Lakche with Balmung, STR/SKL/SPD/RES Rings, and max supports can kill just about anyone who stands in her way.

Lakche v. Yurius

Yurius Stats: LV30/80HP/15STR/25MAG/27SKL/27SPD/13LUK/25DEF/30RES

Yurius AS: 27 SPD-12(Lopt)=15

Yurius Skills: Pursuit, Nihil, Wrath, Charge.

-Yurius Charge Activation: 15-52+40=3%=unlikely

-Lakche AS>Yurius AS, Lakche pursuits

-Yurius!Nihil voids Lakche's Meteor and Moonlight, Lakche!Nihil voids Yurius's Wrath

-52AS+20=72% Continue activation for Lakche.

Yurius ATK: 25+30=55

Yurius takes (62/2)-25=6 damage per hit

Lakche takes 55-10=45 damage.

Yurius HIT: (27SKLx2)+80(LoptHIT)+20(Leadership)=154

Yurius AVO: (15ASx2)+13(LUK)+20(Leadership)+30(Castle)=93

Hit:

Lakche 230-93=137=100%| Yurius 154-171=-17=0%

So actually, Lakche won't be needing the Speed, Skill, and Res Rings for Julius, since Lakche's Avo will still be high enough to net 0 HIT on her, and she has no trouble hitting even without the +10 HIT from the SKL ring. Since she won't be getting hit at all, Life and Res are completely unnecessary. I'm going to, however, keep the SPD ring on her for the highest possible chance of Continue activation. The Res ring can be given to the dancer or one of the support people if Yurius Meteorbombs, and one of them can take the other SPD ring or something.

Without a dancer and if Yurius just decide to Meteorbomb people or attacks Lakche while on the castle, Lakche does 6x4=24 damage maximum per turn, Yurius heals 80*.2-1=15 HP per enemy phase. Lakche does 9 damage effectively except on the last turn. Lakche takes a minimum 9 turns to kill him. 9x7+24=78, which is 2 HP short. 9x8+24=96>80.

Without a dancer and if Yurius actually attacks Lakche off the castle during Enemy Phase (I have actually playtested this, so I don't know), Lakche does 9 damage effectively during player phase and another 24 max during enemy phase. This should take two turns of PP and EP, then one last Player Phase to finish off assuming all continue proc'd.

With a dancer, Lakche does 6x4x2=48 damage maximum per turn, 33 effecive except on the last round. Lakche 2RKO's him (33+48=81) assuming maximum damage done.

Yurius can't even touch her.

(Tested. Yurius indeed has 0 hit on her. He will be Meteorspamming others, though, so bring a couple of healers. I did this in three turns with Leen dancing, since Lakche didn't proc continue EVERY time, but that's okay. Delmud had to dodge a charge!meteo at 57% hit, and Aless can actually survive a Wrath Meteor.)

Big Shield activation: 30%

Alvis HIT: (30SKLx2)+80 (Falaflame)+40(Leadership)+10(Charisma)=190

Alvis AVO: (15SPDx2)+4 LUK+40(Leadership)+10(Charisma)+30+(Castle)=114

Hit:

Lakche 230-114=116=100%| Alvis 190-172=18%

Lakche's chance of ORKOing Alvis assuming Big Shield doesn't activate:

(.72^2(continue)+.7^4(big shield not activating))x100=12.45%

Lakche has 0% chance of death if there are healers around, as Alvis cannot double her.

(Tested. Done. Killed in two rounds. Lakche proc'd continue once, dodged, and doubled. Leen dances. Lakche kills Alvis. :awesome: Although, I did make a mistake in my math, as Alvis only had 6 hit against her and not 18. )

Lakche v. Arion

Arion stats: LV27/70HP/26+10STR/6MAG/24SKL/21+10SPD/12LUK/27+10DEF/9RES

Arion AS: 31-15=16

Arion ATK: 36+30=66

Lakche does 62-37=25 damage/hit.

Arion does 66-19=47 damage/hit.

Arion skills: Pursuit, Continue, Nihil, Prayer (ring)

Continue Activation rate: 16+20=36%

Arion HIT: (24SKLx2)+70(Gungnir)+40(Leadership)+20(WTA)=178

Arion AVO: (16ASx2)+12LUK+40(Leadership)=84

Lakche's hit will be decreased to 210 from WTD.

Hit:

Lakche: 210-84=126=100%| Arion: 178-171=7%

Chances of Lakche ORKOing Arion: 1.0x.72x1.0x100= 72%

Arion does not have a chance to enter Prayer range.

Chances of Arion ORKOing Lakche: .07x.36x.07x100= .1%

(Tested. Lakche ORKO's Arion with a Continue proc. Arion has very little hit on her.)

Holyn!Lakche also has the potential to have the highest crit rate in the game. 30SKL+5(ring)+10(Balmung)+50(100 Kill Balmung)+20(Lover)+20(Sibling)=135 Crit.

It's just highly improbable to achieve.

On the other hand, after reading up Skills when I did the calculations, I found out Charge can go up to 20 rounds of combat.

Which means, Noish!Lakche, with Silver Blade (her highest MT weapon with any non-Holyn father) and a STR ring, has the potential to deal 41600 damage in one turn of combat before factoring in defenses provided her HP don't fall below 25.

Lakche would have 27+5+20=52 ATK.

Multiply by 4, for Continue-Pursuit-Continue.

Multiply by 5, for Astra.

Multiply by 20, for maximum Charge.

Multiply by 2, for Critical.

Nobody has that much HP.
