The Envoy of the Beginning
Artur = Lucius v2; mediocre in my opinion. I make him a Bishop just to pwn the monsters.
CGV
I made Lute a sage so therefore I made Artur a Bishop. The slayer skill which comes with Bishops is very useful (which is the main reason I chose Bishop over Sage) but also in SS I like one of each type of magic unit:Lute: Sage Artur: Bishop L'Arachel: Mage Knight Natasha: Valkyrie Ewan: Druid Knoll: Summoner I think the most of them i've used in a game is half of them. That's some magic army without pre-promotes. I didn't think it was possible in SS
TLSothe
Sage. Always. Unless you are planning on Creature Campaigning.
Ϲharlie
I make him a bishop because that's what I like to do. The triple might against monsters is kind of nice, too.
sandmanccl
First playthrough, he was a Bishop because Slayer > monsters. This time, though, I think I'm going with Sage because his stats are more sage-like than bishop-like. I actually used Moulder (I KNOW WHAT A WEIRD PERSON TO USE) so he's my Bishop. It's the only way to make his terrible magic gains usable. So, Artur'll be my sage, and then basically I'ma follow what Sir Canas said about the rest of the group. Meteor
Bishop, because Slayer rapes so much in this game.
Raven
Sage 'cos they're much cooler, and can use more magic. Edited July 24, 2008 by Raymond
Meteor
They get Anima, which is irrelevant.
sandmanccl
That's the truth of it. Anima > light magic, which you encounter in enemies how often? But, like I said, this ONE playthrough, I'm going to make him a Sage. You know, for something different.
Florete
Sages get light and anima, so your point is? Bishops only have slayer going for them, but most monsters have low resistance anyway.
Meteor
I like to be able to OHKO them, and it's helpful against the Dracozombies.
Suzaku
Bishop, Slayer is just too good to pass up
Knife
Technically, he was meant to be a Bishop.
torifae
Sage>Bishop. Because Sages get much more Magic than Bishops during promotions. If anyone should go for Bishops it should be Moulder who I hate so...><
Knife
Sage>Bishop. Because Sages get much more Magic than Bishops during promotions. If anyone should go for Bishops it should be Moulder who I hate so...>< But Bishops get Slayer.
torifae
Their only useful when your doing Creature Campaign valks. Moulder and Natasha and maybe Riev would be your primary Bishops. Not Artur because you get so much more if he's a Sage.
Phoenix Wright
I voted Sage but I make him a Bishop EVERY time. I would make him a sage but I do creature campaign and we all know what that means... SLAYER!
DeSu
I made him Sage, cuz Sage looks cooler and I don't really use Artur much, cuz I caught me a rare Natasha.
Solanum Tuberosum
I like making him a Bishop. I got a blessed Artur, every stat within 5 of the cap, except defence, at level 10 Bishop. Too bad I saved over the file >_> P.S hp was 36. Edited August 23, 2008 by Piemanmj
Lightshayde
Bishop for the slayer ability. And Artur would already have S rank in light instead of having to train for anima.
Florete
My current Artur is asking to be a Bishop. His Magic is in the shitter.
