whase
I'm not an expert, but sometimes a character is multiple times in the list of a chapter, see if you changed them all.

RNG Princess
you can edit the enemies' growths, your characters growths, raise or lower boss stats. I played with promotion items a lot and making all the missing weapons available in my edit and thats only through Nightmare ^_^.
Tables
Do you have all the modules? If so, have a look at them and you can probably find all the more interesting stuff. Just giving my modules a quick look, I can... Change enemy classes and weapons Change the contents of shops Change things like the weather of maps Edit any class or character however I want, including stats, growths, some skills, movement type, weapons etc. Edit weapons stats, including bonus stats Edit promotion items Edit character sprites and portraits Edit promotion paths and bonuses Change summons And lots of other smaller things or things that I don't even know how to do - like editing the promotion level (former) or moving enemies starting positions (latter). So, there's lots of things you can do, if you have the modules for it.
FragMaster
well i only have nightmare, so i dont think that ill be able to change the sprites or anything. i have this idea in FE8 about double promotions. but i just dont know how to make it work lol
AstraLunaSol
FEditor lets you change sprites. But if you're going to do that, then you'll have to knw how to format them and stuff.
Aleph
Or how to read documentation; whichever, really.

Chocolate Kitty
Class editor: Messes with classes ex: give cyclops 5 base HP(Hehehehe ). Character editor: Messes with specific characters ex: give knoll 15 base luck(he really could use it). And from there, run with it.
FragMaster
but they have 2 ephraim's in class edit and 1 in character edit? i dont get it
Chocolate Kitty
2 ephriam's in class edit are normal lord and great lord(the classes themselves). the one in character editor is the character named ephriam.
FragMaster
yes. so what do i edit ???? for example i edit the growth of the ephraim lord in class edit, what does that do in character edit?
Chocolate Kitty
Nothing at all, class growths affect generic enemy growths. Character growths affect how specific characters will grow as they level up. Most of the time you edit growths in character editor and bases in both editors. Character base + Class base = in game base Edited September 9, 2010 by Dancer A

Aleph
You don't know how to read? What the hell are you doing right now?
FragMaster
no lol! i meant with the sprites thing lol hahahaha
RNG Princess
Some things are not as hard as they seem ^_^. If you want double promotions then make a list on what type of class you want and then maybe you can import animations from the other GBA games and use them as the promotion animations. Making the custom animations is much harder though. Edited September 10, 2010 by Queen_Elincia
FragMaster
i have no idea how to do anything about sprites so i just improvised. lol i have the double promotions working but, its not branched promotions and im changing the difficulty a bit, making it a bit more challenging. only thing left is making a patch lol which i also have no idea how to do. Chocolate Kitty
Use NUPS(it's easy to use), just pick create patch. Of course you'd also have to have that too... Go Here
FragMaster
oh i have that already, well im also afraid that no one might play my hack lol. it's too freaking hard
Chocolate Kitty
At least make it beatable without the use of cheats.
FragMaster
well i think it is beatable without cheats, it just needs proper strategies. and the game is kinda slow since i lowered the bases a bit
