CT075 Posted September 14, 2010 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Step 1: Download ROM Step 2: Download Nightmare Step 3: Download character module Step 4: Open Character Module in Nightmare Step 5: load ROM Step 6: Scroll to the bottom where it says character attribute 1, character attribute 2, etc. Step 7: Open drop-down box Step 8: One of them (I think CA4) has a hex number labeled "last item droppable". It basically changes very little aside from growths, items, bases, etc. There are very few script changes, no custom events, no new maps... So yeah. Soren37 Posted September 15, 2010 Share Posted September 15, 2010 (edited) Are you using Nightmare? If you are, then I can only help with the weapon levels. 1. Open Nightmare, your ROM file, and the FE8 Class Editor Module 2. Find Warrior (0x40). It should be right around Trainee Mage/Soldier (1) and the Berserker. 3. Scroll down until you find the Weapon Levels section (beneath Abilities). Change Axe and Bow to equal 0, and Swords to equal whatever level you want it to. 4. Hit Enter and Save. I'm not sure if you've edited your promotions already, because I haven't gotten around to playing with those yet. EDIT: Ninja is sniping my post!
