And getting enough rupees for the bow isn't that hard, it just takes a while. I usually had enough by the time I actually needed it. And honestly, what else are you going to spend your rupees for? Just bring it up upon purchase, save and quit, go back, and then it'll seem like roughly 20 rupees left your pocket. Not as fun (or painful) as stealing the goods, but I'm just putting it up for the people who DON'T want the "THIEF" moniker.
