I don't like the ending of FE4 so i make another story after Celice become the king of Barhara, and arrange a marriage for Yuria. the problem is i have no knowledge about hacking, so i got the idea, i think i need you to help me make a rom/patch for it if you really are interested in it.

This is my story-i make it short so that you all can understand the story a little.

The story happened before Celice makes his first move to Edda

Knowing Sara inherits the weak evil blood of Lopt, her grandfather Manfloy charmed her and forced her to drink the fresh blood of Yurius who inherits the strong evil blood of the god of Darkness, so that she gains enough power to revive the Dark Bishop Galle who is the person possesses the pure blood of Lopt. After Sara had enough power, and Manfloy was defeated by Celice army, Sara under the charm, used her dark power to revive Manfloy to do things for her such as recovering the Lopt sect in Yield, using Galzus and the Parn band, reviving the twelve dark Bishop (Elf, Zwei...) and some bosses who used to be used by Manfloy to repel Barhara (Alvis, Andrei, Kinbois, Trabant, Lamia,...), finding the other son of Alvis (Cyas), all just for revenge the children of Sigurd-Celice and Yuria.

After she prepared everything, the first move of hers is murdering Celice who is the king of Barhara now, but he survived (he will take the place of Vylon in the first part. He will give Yuria the Narga's sacred tome).

Son of Celice is Cecil (he will take place of Shanan.Jr) is protected by Jenne (will take place of Ayra). They escaped the invading of Sara's army and run to Siselia to evacuate, and also inform this bad news to their friends who are in Siselia now (Sety, Fee, Tinny, Arthur...) but unexpected, they got caught when run through the Yield desert...

Meanwhile, Yuria is paying a visit to Siselia but meet Cyas (take place of Diadora) accidently, and then encounter a fight between Tinny's army (Tinny take place of Edin) and members of Lopt sect at Yield, trying to capture Tinny...

Yuria didn't fight alone, she's with her companies, Sety (take place of Azel) and Johan (take place of Lex) have just been traveling back to Siselia, also help Yuria. Arion (Cuan), Althena (Ethlin), Lief (Finn) also on there way to Siselia, so they help Yuria, too.

Now, in Issac (take place of Agustria) because Shanan (take place of Eltosian) couldn't protect Diadora when he was young, he makes up his mind, he must protect her children, protect Yuria at any cost. But Galzus interrupted his plan.

Salem saves Tinny, tells Rifis to escort her to a safe place while he's coming back to stop the persuerer. But he finally gets charmed by Sadima (got revived), Veld takes place of Gandalf, Judah takes place of Kinbois.

While Yuria run through Yield desert, she meets Cyas and they get married (i like this ending)

After that, there is a story happen at Issac

Galzus was used by Sara, he revenges for an event happened before his Rivough castle was captured by Manannan which is happened before Issac was invading by Granbell...Galzus and his gang decide to against Shanan. Shanan go to his palace to explain that situation but get trapped and menaced that Trewd (take place of Eliot) of Parn's gang received his order and on their way to Issac to capture Lackhe (take place of Lachesis), if Shannan has any move, she will be killed.

In this time, Lackche is protected by Skasha (take place of Iva), Radney (take place of Alva), Rodleban (take place of Eva).

After that, Ares (take place of Levin) is worriing about Mana (take place of Sylvia) is in a village curing someone, hearng the bandit comes, they show up to protect villagers. Laylea (take place of Fee) is searching for Ares because his mother is worring about him. In this time, Faval (take place of Beowolf) is a mercenary so he also on the battlefield

That's what i'm thinking. Just a raw script.

I'm not good at English, so my writing skill is not good either. As you see, it's just a mess!

If any of you can arrange my idea to a clearer script, i will appreciate from the bottom of my heart!

If i know how to import the face of characters from FE5 to FE4 rom, i can make it myself, but the problem is my short skill of understanding English...

May anyone help me to fullfill my will?

Um...

You're waaaaaaaay better off if you switch to FE7 or something. With the exception of the FEbinary group, nobody (to my knowledge) really knows how to do more than simple stat and maaaaaaybe map changes with the FE4 ROM.

To do this project, ofcourse persons who can do anything with scripts are very important!

Because this is my very first hack rom project, i have something that i'm wondering, may i ask you some questions?

What can script do in rom? Have knowledge about script, is it we can change dialogs, events,...?

What do we need to hack a rom? I can change the icons of equipment+skills+stand status of classes (most of them are collected in others patches, i do some by myself) by using tile layer pro

Though i have the idea and this little skill, but i don't think i play main part in this project, i need someone know clearly about hacking rom. Will you accept to be a main character in this project? a leader? Can you gather anyone to do this project?

I think the events are just the same as the original, just change dialogs, faces of some characters from FE5 to FE4, map graphic (just make the prologue map to snowy, map 1 to desert,...) (1)

If we can add and change the in-battle graphics of weapons/new weapons, classes, moving status of classes, they will be great! (2)

But if we're poor in human resources, just do the (1) is ok to me.

This is the idea of map prologue (main idea is 12 crusaders defeat the dark lord once and for all)

Amid: Tinny, the castle is going to be captured by the Lopt sect's army anytime. Please hurry, leave here to us, you must run away.

Tinny: No! Brother entrust this castle to me, i want to live or die with it. Thanks for helping me so far, please leave now! If something happens to you, i don't know how to face aunt Ethina.

Amid: Don't underestimate me, i'm not going to die easily. Only you have a deep relationship to sister Ishtar. we all know that she's hiding somewhere else, isn't your brother and sister in law Fee keeping finding her trace? You must survive to find her to recover the glory of Freege.

Tinny:...I understand, Amid. Please forgive me...[/Quote]

Dialog 2 at Lubeck (take place of Chalphy)

(take place of Sigurd->Yuria, Hawk->Adan, Johalva->Noish, Lester->Alec)

Yuria: The citizen is rumouring about Throve is being surrounded by Lopt Sect. Tinny is at there, i must give her a hand.

Johalva: Lopt sect? Isn't the sect was completely destroy by King Celice in the last war?

Lester: It doesn't matter, we must hurry up and help Tinny right away, she's in great danger. But before we leave, we should say something to our company first.

Yuria: Yes! Sleuf, are you there?

Sleuf: I'm right here! I'm sorry but i heard all of your conversation. Thanks for let me travel with you, now i must pay the favor. I will help you.

Yuria: Please don't! You're just a priest, those Dark Bishops of Lopt sect hate priests the most, if you go out there, i'm a fraid you will be in a greater danger than my friend.

Sleuf: You've been helping me so much since we started the journey, i feel uncomfortable if i just stand till without doing something while i could.

Yuria: I understand. But i can't let you risk your life like this. How about you using the Blagi power to assist us, pray the Blagi lord to bless victory upon us?

Sleuf: If you insist, lady.

Johalva: Lady Yuria, one more thing. Have you ever thought that he may also be in danger if he's left behind? As you know, the HQ of Lopt Sect is right in the Yield Desert, we're in their area. They can invade to Zakson, they can also attack here, too! We should leave someone here to protect him.

Veld: What's taking you morons so long to take this dinky castle?! Nevermind, i'll do it myself

->in battle: You held out pretty well for being on your own. But i gotcha now. Die!

Amid: Arrrr....Please survive, Tinny!

Tinny: Amiddd...no...

Veld: Well, well, well...Lady Tinny. Finally! You will be the bait to make Ishtar show herself.

Moore, you and Alphan are in charge

Moore: You must leave now?

Veld: Don't you worry! I'll be back with Judah and his men.

Veld: Alphan, i'm heading back to Yield Palace. The castle is in your hands, so, stay alert!

Alphan: Yes, master!

Veld: Yes, she will lead us to Ishtar hideout. She's a keeper, wouldn't you say?

Alphan: She's so fresh, so beautiful! She's making my mouth water.

Veld: You wipe out that grin off your face! You'll get your need met once Siselia is ours. Show a little self control till then

Tinny: You're all animals...Dear Lord, please instill these people with a little decency

Veld: What are you mumbling about? We're going! That Lord of yours can't rescue you this time.

Moore: Get moving, fellows! We're going to Lubeck. Cooperate with those bandit and bring any loot you find in the villages to me!

Dialog 5: Take place of Azel->Sety, Lex->Johan

Sety: Johan, Siselia is ahead. !!! What's happening?!

Johan: Looks like the news we heard along the way is correct, the Lopt sect is recovering and starting widening their power out of Yield Desert. Aren't they Lady Yuria and my brother? Oh, Lester is also in the troop. They must sure be happy to see us. You just can't stay out of these things, can you, Sety?

Sety: Yeah, but they attack suddenly, we can't call a reinforcement from Barhara or anywhere else. Yuria and the few soldiers here are out there fighting for their lives. I can't just leave them hanging...

Johan: Oh really, I'm not quite buying your story, Sety. What aren't you telling me?

Sety: What are you talking about???

Johan: I'd surmise that you're all worked up about lady Tinny at Zakson, i know you like her.

Sety: What's the problem with that?

Johan: A-ha! Face is getting red there, buddy! You little player you.

Sety: Knock it off, Johan! Now come on, let's get moving

Johan: Hahahahaa...Alright, let's do this.

Finally, time to kick some ass.

Dialog 6: take place of Cuan->Arion, Ethlin->Althena, Finn->Lief

Arion: Looks like we're not too late. I hope lady Yuria is alright.

Althena: I'm sure my cousin is fine, but she has no one around her that capable of physical strenght better than us. I'm sure my Gaebolg and your Gungnir can help her much. I'm sorry to pull you into this, Arion.

I know i'm not have much relation to Chalphy family since i was adopted in Thracia but i can't just sit back and do nothing.

Arion: No need to worry, Althena. I also can't just sit back and do nothing while my loving wife is keeping worrying anout thing that i can help. Besides, i can't have you fight alone.

Althena: I sure appreciate it, dear.

Lief: Stop talking please. I'm sorry but must interrupt this conversation, we should be hurry. The battle is just ahead.

From experience, FE4 is far more difficult to do stuff with than FE7; there are far more useful tools for FE7. Character changes would be relatively simple, Nightmare can change portraits (for others ingame) along with growths, skills and the like. Text editing is fairly nasty, although Dark Twilkitri's source files are available for download. The map stuff is doable, but I'd imagine it'd be fairly complicated.

If this is your first project, I'd recommend sticking to toying with Nightmare and then moving onto FE7 for a bigger project when you get the hang of things.

Just do anything you can do. That helps me much!

As i said before. This is my very first haking ROM project.

As all of you, i know and can use FE4Editor and Nightmare.

This project is not that hard to make. If i can import the face of character from FE5 to FE4, the only i need is the script. just change the name in dialog. It's that simple!

The least requirement to complete this project is the face of some characters from FE5.

I just hope this patch is alike to patch Narga (change faces, scripts), and i satisfy.

Well, the post above is my raw idea. I know it may have some mistake about words (vocabulary?), grammar... If you find any mistakes, please correct them, i appreciate!

By the way, i'm not impress to FE series on GBA console. I love we can pair anyone we like, love the animation in battle, it's all in SNES console. While in GBA, we can't set up the pair. the animation in battle just attack and back, attack and back...the animation in battle of FE4 SNES IMO is far more interesting than in GBA.

That's why i stick to FE4 SNES (=O.^=)

Lady Yuria, I'm glad to see that you're safe.

Yuria:

Sety? Thanks Lord, you're back!

Sety:

Johan and I heard about the invading of Lopt Sect to my home country, so we came as quick as we could.

Please, let's fight together.

Yuria:

Sure! Welcome! But where is your sister, Miss Fee? Doen't she with you on the journey?

Sety:

Er... no, she does not. She and Arthur are on their way finding lady Ishtar. We couldn't find her after the death of ...Prince Yurius. I'm sorry, remind you about him.

Yuria:

It's ok! It's a good way to release his curse so don't worry talk about him like that to me. Well, you believe lady Ishtar is alive but hiding somewhere?

Sety:

Yeah, recently, we've heard that all enemies we fought before were back to live by the power of Dark Lord Loputus himself but miss a silver hair lady. We hope that the lady they're talking about is Ihstar. As you know, Ishtar is the last hope of Freege, she's the only one can wield the sacred tome Thor Hammer. If the rumour is true, we must need her power and the power of 11 other crusaders to against the Dark Lord.

Yuria:

Well then, we should start gather our old friends and have a plan to defeat this Dark Lord. Thanks for imform me this news, Sety. Let's fight together

Sety:

Sure thing, lady!

(Yuria leaves)

Wow, just a few time no see and she changed a lot, has a high leadership, strong mind, decisive character. I wish Celice could be here to see how grow up his sister become.

Dialog 8: Johan with Yuria

Johan:

How do you do, lady?

Yuria:

Johan! Are you here to help out, too?

Johan:

Ofcourse! Since the last war, i traveled with Sety. I want to...

Yuria:

To overcome the heart-breaks, right? I'm very sorry about that...

Please! Don't start it, i can't stand a girl on tears. I totally forget about them.

I traveled with Sety because i want to avoid my brother. I and him fought each other just to win Lakche's heart but finally, no one of us win her heart because she's falling in love with Shanan. I feel ashame, if i didn't fight with him, he may have more chance to win her heart.

Yuria:

Er... I see. Well, all the same, I appreciate you two coming.

Johan:

Well, we'll do what we can. Those dark mages have had their way long enough.

Just some quick thoughts.

1. How would you increase the number of people in the base?

2. Wouldn't it be better to use FE5 for a hack?

3. Why is Celice getting kill off?

4. What is the time difference from FE4 ch. 12? I wanna know this so that maybe you can add a character, Burien could have a son who is old enough to join with Swanchika. Just an idea.

5. I'm pretty used to FE4 Nightmare hacks and palette changing if you want some, little, help.

Please let me answer each of your question

1. I don't intend to add more character, just replace some characters of FE4 by characters from FE5 such as Gandolf of FE4 will be replaced by Veld of FE5, Alvis of FE4->Sara of FE5

2. I think ALL of character from FE5 know all of character from FE4. Because in FE5, we have chance to see Celice's army help Lief's force, Sara must know Yuria and Sety, too! So do Cyas and Yuria,... (=O.^=).

Besides, i want to keep the game play (2 generations), system pairing up (set up who will be parents of a character in 2nd generation) and the graphic of FE4 (it's "round", cute! in FE5, the sprites look thin,...).

3. I didn't let Celice get killed, he just get hurt and finally die because he's too exuashted, lost too much blood.

Why did he get hurt?

Sara ordered her men to murder him, so that they can skill the Light Crusader, leader of the last war. As she (evil Sara) are going to started a war, if he alive, he can defeat their plan again, can win the war again.

4. You mean the start time of this event i'm going to do in this patch?

Th story is, when Yurius was born, Manfloy was do something (i'm not good at English...scratch or something) to take the fresh blood of Yurius, this blood contain the blood of Dark Lord Lopt (we all know that). Manfloy know Sara his grand daughter has minor blood of Lopt in her veins, so he charm her first then force her to drink blood of Yurius to strengthen her minor Blood to major blood, so that he can completely control Loputus in the future.

He thought the sacred blood of Fala may reduce the power of Lopt's blood, so Yurius may be a weak Dark Lopt. That's why he set up his plan like that. But he was wrong, the spell he put on Sara was ineffective from beginning because of Lopt Blood in her body (and because the curse, can not have two sacred blood in two different persons at the same time), forcing Sara drink blood of Yurius did strengthen her but just her power, not enough to waken the true power of Dark Lord. Later, Manfloy discovered that Alvis has another son, Cyas who also contain the blood of Lopt. So, he try to find him, charm him just like he did to Diadora and force him to have child with Sara so that the next generation, the true pure Evil Dark Lord will reborn.

All that story happen before Celice's army raid to Edda.

After Celice killed Yurius (in this patch, i want all player spare Ishtar life since except for her, no one can wield Thor Hammer) and the peace of Granbell was rebuilt. There is no more two Sacred Blood in two diffrent persons, the power of Dark lord in Sara awakens has enough power to revive dead people to undead to control them easily (So evil).

Kind-Sara in Sara body will be disappear soon (Kind-Sara is only appear in the time she helps Yuria attack the dark mages in chapter prologue of this patch. After that, her kind soul will be eaten by evil-Sara)

Ofcourse, in this time, some character of F2 was married and have kids (Brian, too. Ofcourse!).

I intend to review the war of 12 crusaders vs Dark lord and his 12 Evil Dark bishops. And this time, the Dark must be destroyed completely, once and for all. (Only in FE4 EX in 2nd generation)

Who is the killer Balder with Mistelteinn?

Which person will be choosed by the old God Blagi

Fafnir will be slayed whom wielding the sacred sabre Balmunk?

If we can, i would love to make this patch base on the FE4 binary (i want the Forrest class can use Axe and Sword. But to make it simple, asy for you to use FE4Editor and Nightmare, the original FE4 ROM is ok.

And Cyas plays the role of Deidre? But why doesn't the offspring of another incest, Yuria X Cyas, not result a minor Fala, it could even result with major since Yuria has minor Fala. They should have 2 kids inorder to have Fala Flame user.

2. I meant you could hack on FE5 instead of FE4 because of the wide range of chapters available. But I agree on the sprites! FE4 dominates.

5. Like I said it is little help. I'm no expert, but I always fool around with FE4 using Nightmare. SNES Palette editor is useful but I don't think it will come in too much use. The things that I have done in my FE4 is add more weapons to classes, like gave Axe Knight the use of swords, Arch Knight: lance, Social Knight: Axe, Lance Knight: Axe, Jr Lord & Forrest: Axe, and some more. With animations, the only thing I don't know to add is the hand axe for Forrest and other foot soldiers.

Your plan is to just change minor things like rearrange chapter orders & change characters. Like map 1 will use Chapter 4 map right? Zakson to Thove. Map 2 is Chapter 5 map, and so on. All the changing will be Gen 2 replace Gen 1, and new characters replace Gen 2. Events are gonna be the only major issue but thats it. Everything else will just smoothen the rough edges nothing more.

I made a mistake here...i thought Yuria is younger sister of Celice and that she's daughter of Sigurd (=^o^=)(=^o^=)(=^o^=) my bad...(=y.y=)

Have you ever played new patch on febin.so.land.to (it's all new story and ofcourse characters. It bases on suikoden series)

Chris is your main character (replace Sigurd) and after the prologue chapter, Chris gets married to Yun and this Yun is in the place of Diadora.

Can we make it like this?

We can change the situation from Sety have a crush on Tinny to Yuria. They both the best match, right?

Tinny can pair up with Johan or Johalva so that her kids can have both ambush and wrath (=O.^=) Cool!

Or we can ignore this as the original FE4 made the same mistake, both Ayra and Holyn have minor blood of Odo.

Your choice (i can't do so if you can do, please decide it)!

Your plan is to just change minor things like rearrange chapter orders & change characters. Like map 1 will use Chapter 4 map right? Zakson to Thove. Map 2 is Chapter 5 map, and so on. All the changing will be Gen 2 replace Gen 1, and new characters replace Gen 2. Events are gonna be the only major issue but thats it. Everything else will just smoothen the rough edges nothing more.

The first map should use the map used in chapter 5 (Cuan and his comrades dies in the frontier of Yield desert) But if we can't edit the map, just change the name of castle of map in chapter prologue is ok.

All the changing will be Gen 2 and some character from FE5 replace gen 1, i will use the face of Gen 1 to replace gen 2 (because the time to prepare to face the Dark Lord himself must take a long time) such as

Baldo=Sigurd

Hezul= Eltosain

Odo=Shanan (his face looks the same in the portrait of 12 crusaders)

Nova=Althena

Dain=young Trabant

Neir=Lex (his face looks the same in the portrait of 12 crusaders)

Open the tlp.exe and browse to file FE4(Icon list) v3.smc, then click on the palete and choose to open file FE45GBA class. TLP to see the graphic of class, or FE45GBA weapon to see the rest graphic.

The pair system will be kept in this patch and everyone can also ignore the paring up to play the part of substitute characters.

I don't think you need to change any thing with the pairing. The only thing that needs to happen is just insert characters to where the existing haracters are.

Trueblade, may i ask you a question? About scripting?

Well, i'm collecting dialogs box in the game so that i can count how much letters a dialog box content so that i can replace exactly that number of letters for new dialog.

I'm working on origin FE4 because only there Sylvia entertain Siselian event happens.

Are you able to insert new letters (Alphabet) and add more letters in dialogs box?

Such as there's a dialog box content 3 letters and ..., can you replace it with "i failed..."

Right now, i'm collecting dialogs in the origin FE4 Japanese as i think only this FE4 has the event of Defender sword for Sylvia. I will try to replace exactly the amount of letters in each dialog by mine, so that the one who help me on scripting will have no trouble in editing it.
