Yeah, Eirika and Ephraim had some flaws, but their personalities were a lot more fleshed out than say, Hector and Lyn. I like how Ephraim's character grew and he soon decided to become a suitable king for the people of Renais. I think it's a pretty observant analysis and you bring up good points about Ephraim ... although I'll be the first to admit that I'm not particularly interested in any lord who's not Ike or Eliwood.
