Ever have something that you've ever wanted to do but felt that you couldn't because you lacked the skills or resources necessary? Actually, that describes my desire to go mushroom foraging perfectly. I've always wanted to go forage for edible mushrooms in the wild and try eating lots of exotic mushrooms that grow in forests (especially the lobster mushroom, which supposedly tastes like actual lobster). However, I don't even know any nearby locations near my city where I could find lots of edible mushrooms, plus I'd need to have an expert mushroom hunter with me so I don't risk eating/collecting any poisonous mushrooms. ...yeah, my mushroom foraging desire all started with a fateful day where an edible mushroom species was the featured article on Wikipedia, I clicked on it out of interest, and it all snowballed from there.
