I actually don't care for the sound of my own voice in my head. I'm better at listening.

Then there's the matter of the voice reading (whether it's crisp and not monotonous/bored sounding), but I'm assuming the best.

not like any of that matters when it's so rare to have the option to listen.

It really depends. If it's someone who will read it dramatically and all, I would definitely want to listen, but this works more with poetry and scripts rather than anything else.

So I suppose I'll choose reading.

Usually I'm better at reading, because if I get bored, which I always do, I can just close the book. If someones talking to me I'm not going to tell them to stop and come back later.
