May try to S-rank it sometime as well... Nope, you can do as crap as you want in Lyn Mode. It has no effect on Hector/Eliwood Mode ranks. It actually helps, since you can promote Sain (as I did) or Kent, plus an Energy Ring and an Angelic Robe. And experience. Also thanks, I hope it ends in an S-rank anyway. And in the meantime, I'm wondering how I'm going to get to both secret shops in a reasonable amount of turns in Ch.20. It's 16 turns to 5 star tactics in this chapter. I'll manage with what I do have anyway. Ch.20: Dragon's Gate 16 turns of 16 Prior to video: Sold the Secret Book and Goddess Icon. Deployed units: Hector, Eliwood, Lyn, Matthew, Raven, Sain, Priscilla, Serra, Florina, Canas, Oswin, Rebecca. I would not have deployed Sain, but I needed him to help break through the enemies to recruit Legault before he escaped and get the Member card from that Thief. It might have been the reason behind losing a star in EXP, but I'll make it up in the next chapter. But on a positive note, I did manage to get every chest and shop in both Secret shops in 16 turns, staying within 5 stars for Tactics. Also the Lords combined are Lv46. Looks positive for going to Ch.23 Linus. Well fucking WMG, EMI and Ultra Records had some beef with tunes I put into the video, and so the music's disabled. Cunts. I was half-expecting it, sending out most of my highest-levelled units. But I will make it up in future chapters, I'll make sure of it. Make sure to abuse the hell out of the FFO arena. Will do. I'll even sacrifice some turns and my 5 stars in Tactics to recover my 5 stars in EXP. I'm more than sure there will be coming chapters I can recover my Tactics rank. Edit: Eliwood and Haxtor are forced, with 6 free spaces. I plan on taking one healer (Priscilla) and both thieves (to abuse in the arena), and giving them both torches. I'm thinking to take Raven (boss killer) and Fiora, who could sink some more EXP against the magic units. Rebecca can take down the dragon riders and peggies. You know how you have like 10 people who you've never even touched? I used everyone to some extent. The only units I have left with single-digit level are Fiora, Heath, Wil, Guy, and Rath, and even they're quite close, generally around level 6 to 9. I also didn't have an early promoted Sain. Of course, the reason why I didn't go more slowly is because I was using savestates to cut down on misses which are kind of unavoidable with scrubs like Bartre or Dorcas or Dart. And even better units like Lowen and Sain miss a lot. Now, the main reason I had such a huge focus on EXP is mainly because I hate arena abuse because I find the arena really annoying to try and rig in my favour. It's easy to look like you're doing okay in the rank before hitting the end and losing multiple stars due to the insane requirements later on. Having 4 stars at Ch 22 isn't a good sign. After his poor performance in Ch.19, I decided to drop him for good. Maybe I should've tried more. I'll see what I can do with what I've got. Edit: That was Lowen in Ch.19. But still, as it stood, I don't think Kent was good enough for any chapter since he was level 1 and not even used through Lyn's mode. Maybe that's a mistake I should've foresaw.
