Zanarkin
A friend told me this but i'm wondering if it's true. I don't remember how many pts he told me.
Mufasa
I read somewhere that it was 50 playthroughs, but I'm fairly sure that it was a lie. I think the only way you could get Griel is by using an action replay or a cheating device. (which I have done.)
Metal Rabbit
i personally wouldn't think 50 playthroughs is worth one character. it's not true.
Nightmare
Yeah, absurd requirements like that are always a lie. Or almost always...
Celice
no no no You need to run in a circle five time clockwise then five times counter-clockwise within thirty seconds, then get Luigi to the top of the castle with no stars, then get through a level using glitch which allows a unit to move through any terrain. Ah. Okay. *Goes to try it.* *Comes back.* Hey! That's impossible!
Paper Jam
"There is no cow level." Sorry... this whole discussion reminds me of the "cow level" rumors from Diablo 1... Edited July 9, 2008 by Paper Jam

Celice is actually right. /sarcasm No, Greil is definitely not a playable trial map character.
ritsuo
This is sort of an aside, but slightly on topic, I guess but... I`ve always wondered what Griel`s mastery skill is. Is it even possible to give him an Occult scoll (for those who have hacked him)? I have an AR, but I don`t actually own the game. Does anybody know? Eltoshen
I would imagine Aether, but I have no evidence to back it up. He is a hero, right? So I imagine it would be the same as Ike and whatever his second promotion is. Of course, the game data may have it so that he doesn't even have one at all. HowAreYaBud
I just checked on gamefaqs, and it didn't say anything about Greil, and if he actually was playable, they'd more than likely have it.
Ϲharlie
I remember hearing something about Greil being a trial map character when PoR first came out in Japan, but that turned out to be incorrect. And according to the skill list, Aether is the mastery skill for the Hero class.
Eltoshen
Well, I remember the site had him listed but VincentASM was just messing with us.
Arch
Greil's master skill is indeed Aether.
Masu
I thought I saw a video of someone using Griel. I know one day in class me and branded saw something about him being playable in trail maps.
ritsuo
Greil's master skill is indeed Aether. That almost makes me as giddy as when I realized Ike can Axe Aether in RD. I kinda wanna borrow PoR again and hack Greil and see how/if it works.
