Original Concept's uniform has 2 brown shoulderpads in the sprite, but a belt over the right shoulder. Try to place a light difference on the outside, so it reflects his shoulder-belt. Also, add the brown under shirt to the sprite. And for Wendy, just a suggestion. Tilt her sword downward a bit more, to give the idea that it's resting on her armour-clad shoulder. I didn't copy the pic in here, but could you give a shot at narrowing Fir's sword by just a touch? For a small character such as herself, a long wide sword like that seems difficult to wield.
