deleted35362 Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Huh, what's this Torch Glitch...? the mine glitch, but with the torch staff. with the mine glitch, it let you control the enemies because it made a single spot on the map temporary shift to "player input" programming, or something like that. when an enemy stops on the spot, the game kinda thinks it's the player phase for a short time(to attack the enemy), and then stops "thinking" it's the player's input. resetting the game makes the game forget to switch out of this. when you use the torch staff on a space on the map, it uses that same programming whenever any unit stops on it. since the torch staff doesn't force a unit to stop like a mine would, you have to reset the game as an enemy waits on a specific torched spot. (btw i don't know a damn thing about the programming, i'm just trying to rationalize it.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
