Interest Posted July 27, 2013 Share Posted July 27, 2013 You missed nothing of importance I figured. They added Dark and Steel for the same reason concerning Psychic types. What do you honestly think they should have done to Dragon types other than add another type that beats them? Personally, I welcome the Fairy type, more types more fun whooo. Why not just make more types either "strong against" Dragon or have durability against Dragon moves? Example: Ice now also takes half damage from Dragon moves. Probably since those 4 are like, the "basic" elements, gameplay wise...? Not basic in the term of simple, but basic like.... like how Fire, Ice, Lightning is a staple of many games in terms of elements.
