Anyway, after about three and a half weeks after his departure, the seas were proving to be treacherous for the brave little penguin. His supplies were dwindling and the temperature was finally catching up to him. Distraught, he began to doubt himself about his decision to leave the Antarctic and was ready to call it quits. That is, until he looked at a picture of him and Shirley as kids and remembered the charm she gave to him,which rests around his neck. *Flashback* "This charm, I found it when exploring the South Pole" she said. "It appears to have a special purpose, so I kept it as a good luck charm. Going on your jurney, you're probably going to need all the luck you can get,so take it with you. Just be sure I get it back ok?" *End Flashback* Remembering how dear it was to her, he regained his resolve to survive his journey and return to her. With a new found strength, he braved the oceans again, believing that he will discover new lands. Somewhere along the way, he took a nap on his platform and when he came to, he unknowingly was swept onto the coastlines of California . . . . . . . . . . . . . >_______> I don't think any penguins can survive in California. Hey, I never said a person can't have a cute personality and be cute for it. but what about "pretty" and "beautiful"? beautiful sounds really vague unless you specifically say that the personality is beautiful, and pretty specifically means "externally good-looking".
