And I don't memorize members' numbers (unless it's a number like 4444 or something =D) but I do check member numbers when I see unfamiliar names, because (last I've seen at least) the super new members usually have numbers in the 8000s so if it's low 8000s or lower, then I know that member isn't all that new~! Though for all I know, we've reached the 9000s at this point! =O Gasap we really are in the 9000s now~!
