Randoman
Well, good night everyone. Impressive! I've not even beat a Mario platformer yet. Well, I don't blame you. The simplicity of Mario games can make them quite hard, due to not having many moves to your disposal (compared to other games like Kirby and Mega Man). I've always been a fan of them, though. If it did, I don't think Nintendo would have done things like Erk X Nino or Amelia X Franz, at least not while holding the same rating. Leinex
The Mandarin Chinese characters for the numbers are exactly the same, as far as I know. Also, 四 and 九 are considered bad luck because their pronunciations are the same as death. 八 is considered lucky because of how the character opens up downward. It's not the gap that's the issue. By law, I'm just barely too old *Doesn't know kanji* That's just age of consent and whatever. XD Japanese has three writing systems. Kanji represents ideas. Speaking of foreign language, has anyone else realized how German FE (especially FE8) is? Didn't know that.

HK Motendra
Since when has society been good at inference? I'll give you that one, cause society does tend to overreact to a lot of things, but that's just the way it is

Acacia Sgt
Speaking of foreign language, has anyone else realized how German FE (especially FE8) is? Long ago. Just look at the Dreadlords (Eins, Zwei, Drei, etc) and Grannvale's armies (Rotten Ritter, Gelben Ritter, Gruenne Ritter, etc). It isn't just FE. To Japan, a foreign language such as German can be seen as very exotic, so it's not surprise they employ it much for naming stuff. Reminds me of SRW, who also has stuff like WeissRitter, AltEisen, Einst Knochen/Glied/Gemmuet, etc.
