They both get Chlorophyll to help their speed, but Vileplume has more special attack and gets stab Sludge Bomb to take out them fairies. I'm referring to the fact that Bartre's not doubling soldiers - which are just cannon fodder, an easy kill for liek everybody - when everyone else can at base. Maybe, but it'll take a lot of speed gains on level ups, or a wtfmassive weigh down on the enemy's part, to see Bartre double. Also, I shoulda mentioned it in my other post, but GBA Fighters (at least in FE7 and Sacred Stones) have some of the worst promotion bonuses. No speed gain on promotion pretty much forces them to rely entirely on their speed growth. Brute strength is the only thing Bartre has going for him, pretty much.
