As I stated earlier, the maps are primarily to blame - traversing maps like those in a mono-seize game is no fun (and the multiple castles to seize part just makes it worse). The mechanics just drive the nail into the coffin. As if that weren't enough, I think that the chance of having to replay the game from the beginning because you either fucked up with pairings or even didn't pair people is pretty bad as well. It was my least favorite Marto Party because of the minigames - I swear that one had more minigames that were either luck based or required button mashing than any other MP I've played (which would be 1 through 8).
