Soledai
How bad is critical Xaldin I wonder.. The fight is completely luck based. If you don't get your stuff right in the first few moves, that's a wrap. Stuff = Jump Edited April 20, 2015 by Soledai

Soledai
Given all the extra content in FM, I went with Proud mode instead. What, no Critical Mode?
HK Motendra
Marluxia looked fucking crazy bro wasn't his thing like, he gets a counter on you, counting how many times he hits you and when that counter hits zero you die? and he hits you, a lot Lexaeus looks like the kind of guy that would do shit like that aw shit Precisely. Ya gotta really time your guard with him to get the reaction command in time to restore the counter. That, along with timing your dodges well enough, so that he doesn't just bombard you with a seemingly endless combo-if you don't get out of it-. And he only gets harder, the higher level you are. Its all all cause of that power meter for his battle. As it gets higher and higher, he gets more viscious. Meanwhile, yours just stays at like, 100, and only briefly rises for a reaction command. Then back to 100 How bad is critical Xaldin I wonder.. The fight is completely luck based. If you don't get your stuff right in the first few moves, that's a wrap. Stuff = Jump Well fuck... Soledai
Well fuck... On the flip side you can end the fight very early if you can get the Jump x9 commands as soon as possible. With luck. How is Critical Sephiroth? :P Bigger hp bar and hits harder, but still pretty much the same. Edited April 20, 2015 by Soledai

Starman
The fight is completely luck based. fitting for the gambler, huh? Precisely. HK Motendra
Bruh, nooooo, I dun even want to think about it. Granted, he's easier than he was in the first, but even so. Then again, I've fought em so many times back in the day, it didn't take long for me to adjust On the flip side you can end the fight very early if you can get the Jump x9 commands as soon as possible. With luck. Bigger hp bar and hits harder, but still pretty much the same. Hol up. We talking the Data!Xaldin or regular Xaldin? Cause Data's MUCH harder than the real thing

Jedi
You know whenever I fire up Tales of the Abyss (my fav tales game) I find it painful to go through the beginning because of Van's trickery with Luke and such. But then again Luke has some of the best character development ever, its just hard to go from. Luke, Saint, hater of self. Back to Luke, Asshole with some good comments. HK Motendra
I've actually only played the Xillia's in regards to Tales of... ^_^; Data Xaldin. Oh, then I agree completely. Without Jump, there aint much you can do

Starman
Stuck on XIllia, though Shirley and Yuki gave some nice advice on how to maybe work my way around Vesperia though, i loved that was like my go to game for sophomore year of Highschool especially on the story, it might have some meh moments, but i like it even iif it turned into a green aesop .w. Hahaha he did have better hair, but its symbolic when he cuts it. ughu, never found a copy of abyss for ps2, and i really need to find that ps3 symphonia game Luke's development was nice, but a but far to be believable, yeah but at least its better than eternal asshole luke I think his development is pretty believable, everything he knows is shattered and He's technically only 8 years old and a spoiled brat. Also ToA has a 3DS port.

Jedi
ToA is amazing. I played the 3DS version though. And Luke was also pretty refreshing for a RPG protagonist. *Thumbs up* He's actually my favorite Tales protag. 3DS version of Abyss is great Yeah, only thing that annoys me is that they didn't add unique thingies. secondworld
By the way Jedi, your Gurren Lagann themes are great Yeah, only thing that annoys me is that they didn't add unique thingies. Well there was a glitch added, I think, I don't know if it was in the original
