Magical Glace Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) SO WE START WITH DQIII I FIRMLY BELIEVE III IS THE FIRST CHRONOLOGICALLY FOR REASONS SUCH AS: RAMIA IS STILL RAMIA, MOST LIKELY PLACING IT BEFORE VIII, AS WELL AS POSSIBLY VI AS WELL (THE ZENITHIAN SWORD IS THE SWORD OF RAMIA IN DQVI) IT CANONNICALLY TAKES PLACE BEFORE I, II, AND VII (THE LAST OF WHICH IS CONFIRMED BY DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: CARAVAN HEART) FEW GENERATIONS AFTER III IS I, FOLLOWED BY II A FEW GENERATIONS LATER. THEN SOME TIME PASSED AND THE WORLD FROM I-III IS DESTROYED. AROUND 10 YEARS BEFORE VII, KEIFER DISCOVERS THIS AND HELPS IT, GETTING NAMED AN ERDRICK IN THE PROCESS. THEN VII HAPPENS BECAUSE CARAVAN HEART IS A PREQUEL TO THAT GAME. SOME TIME LATER NUMEN/ZENUS, WHO IN THIS THEORY ARE THE SAME ENTITY, DECIDES EVERYTHING IS WORTHLESS TRIES TO BLOW STUFF UP GETS STOPPED BY CELESTRIA. SOME TIME LATER IX HAPPENS AND IT SWITCHES FROM GOD TO GODDESS FROM THERE WE HAVE THE ZENITHIAN TRILOGY AND VIII, ENDING THE TIMELINE WITH V THE END WASN'T THAT A GREAT TRAOLLPOST. Nope, but I do know that Caravan Heart is set in a ruined Erdrick Trilogy World starring a younger version of Prince Keifer from VII. Which would logically put VII after the first three wrap up.
