[spoiler=Undertale]I beat Undertale again yesterday.
Did a neutral to true pacifist playthrough (i.e. beating the game on neutral, then reloading your save to befriend Alphys and beat the game on pacifist).
I think it's an even better way to experience the game than a strict true pacifist, because this way you have to fight both Asgore and Flowey and Asriel.

True pacifist is definitely worth experiencing though, Hatt.

Well, it's technically what I experienced.

But because it was my first playthrough, I was unable to befriend Alphys and had to do the neutral ending anyway. But then Flowey appears at the end telling you to become better friends with Alphys. If you go back to your old save then, you can befriend Alphys and get the pacifist ending.

So it's basically a pacifist playthrough with a neutral ending followed by the true pacifist ending.

Oh so you fought Asriel

Yeah, it's like:

- fight Asgore;

- fight Flowey;

- neutral ending;

- reload;

- date with Alphys;

- true lab;

- fight Asriel.

I think it's more powerful than a strictly pacifist run, because it also has the battles with Asgore and Flowey.

I didn't know you had the ability to do that, lol.

I read about how to get the true pacifist ending, so as soon as I saw flowey I assumed I failed and quit the game to do the Alphys sequence.

I kind of regret that now, lol.

Dude, after you get that pacifist-turned-neutral ending, Flowey literally tells you to go back to your old save file and try befriending Alphys.

You get a phone call from Undyne about her letter to Alphys as soon as you've backtracked out of the Core.

Both me and my sister did this. Better than replaying the whole game again.
