Good characters like Snake, Wolf and Ice-Climbers didn't returned (yet) and therefore too many unimportant and unpopular characters joined or returned. Of couse I know that Smash Bros and Project X Zone are two different pairs of shoes. However there are few characters who appear in both crossovers. It's just me so I can take any disagreement. Lucina and Dr Mario (as Dark Pit), are clones. They take no space. Originally they were going to be costumes, but in the last weeks of development they were made full characters to give an extra to the consumers. They are taking no-one's spot, which is why most clones either vanish, or become decloned over time.
