Not to mention, ZUN is in league with Sony, if you remember. I don't really have an opinion on NES games in general, per-se....I like some, I dislike others. Of course, I grew up on the GBC so maybe that has something to do with it. And that entire slog from, i think, temple 5 to there was just horrible to me. If left a horrible impression on me. It kinda made me start to not like the Zelda series (well that and the ds games). Still, I don't think that experience you had with that game can apply to all other NES games. And wow, I would never have stuck with a game that long. Oh don't get me wrong, i loved Zelda 1 and Castlevania and mm2. It's just that Zelda 2 was pretty freaking bad.I'm overly persistent at times.
