Wasn't driving fast enough for him to richochet behind my car, so he sort of rolls off the car, and is quiet for a few moments. The wife gets down next to him, I get out of the car, and soon all traffic stops and everyone's getting out of their trucks and calling 911. By the time the paramedics/police arrive, he's conscious again, talking, breathing, etc. They put him on a stretcher and take him to a hospital, for head trauma. No other injuries anywhere else in the body. The cops question me for a little bit, i tell them what happened, and im pretty much 100% NOT in the wrong here, so I doubt ill even get sued for this, much less any criminal charges. After an hour, the car gets towed away and I get home finally. I'm doing fine, the cops were pretty taken back my how composed I was throughout all this lol. I didn't really feel much tbh, i just wanted to wait and see how the whole thing would turn out before I decided to react a certain way. But damn, having someone ram into your windshield is uhh something indeed. that sounds horrible did he and the wife try to blame you, or did they aknowledge they were in the wrong? Who needs them? Unfortunately I have to negotiate daily because of uni, and I actually get along with people decently well. Still doesn't stop the fact 2D > 3D. I do all my work super early, then I get to class the next day and the professor (assuming that no one's even started on said essay) starts talking about what they want to see in the essays and what they're grading based on and stuff. so I probably would've been better off if I had procrastinated since I'd then have a better idea of what kind of essay the professor wants.
