SwordsAreShiney
It's a work in progress, but any feedback would be appreciated. :o
VincentASM
Possibly just a little too green : o How about trying colours 184, 232, 192 (dark), 216, 255, 224 (medium) and 239, 255, 240 (light). I think those were similar to the old configuration.
SwordsAreShiney
Alright, I'll try lightening it up a bit. o.o I took the greens you had in the site, but I had to make a few more shades to accommodate stuff, though. :x EDIT: Better? Zerxer
I like the shades so far. D:
VincentASM
I think it looks slightly better anyway, but I can't quite remember XD However, I do think a mixture of green and white would be better, as opposed to just green. Possibly something more along the lines of the attached image : o
SwordsAreShiney
kk, does the index look good now? :o Do you have AIM? It's easier to bug you about the skin there than constantly posting here. <_<
Jyosua
Yeah, I thought it was too green as well, but I don't know how to make it better.

SwordsAreShiney
Nope, still got a bunch of things to do.
Jyosua
Wow. See this is why you're better at this than me D:
SwordsAreShiney
I've worked with IPB's skins a lot, I know them well. :P
Jyosua
I knew the old IPB that Invisionfree used like the back of my hand.
SwordsAreShiney
Alright, I think that I'm done everything, as far as the HTML/CSS components to the skin go. Anything that needs to be changed, let me know. o_o
VincentASM
Could you compact the whole layout into a ~800px space ^^
Jyosua
I asked him to do that originally, but he said it didn't look good. I don't think he realizes some people don't have very high resolution.
VincentASM
Would it be a waste of space to have a stretched version and a compact version of the same skin :?
Meteor
A lot of the images don't have transparency, like the "add reply" button...
Jyosua
Would it be a waste of space to have a stretched version and a compact version of the same skin :? Actually... that's a great idea. Oh and Vincent? Do NOT worry about space or bandwidth. Seriously. We have TONS. Meteor don't worry about it. We'll eventually be getting new buttons anyhow. VincentASM
I just noticed, but I think we need the background fixed so that it doesn't move. Also, we should perhaps get a new background ^^;;;
Jyosua
Do you have a copy of the background I made from the existing one that just contained the writing without the drawing? I think it would fit better with the forum.
Meteor
Actually, I kind of like the background. One with only the writing would be cool, too Meteor don't worry about it. We'll eventually be getting new buttons anyhow.Yes, I probably should have assumed that was the case. Does this include the online/offline image next to our usernames? Please? :P
SwordsAreShiney
Would it be a waste of space to have a stretched version and a compact version of the same skin :? The default setting for the skin is to have it automatically fill the full width of the screen, but Josh had me set it to a fixed width instead. :x As for the background, I can set it to be attached, just gimme two seconds. Meteor
It could always be in percentage form, right?
SwordsAreShiney
Yes, that's what I meant. The default is 98% (so that it leave a little bit of space on either side), but he wanted a fixed width instead. o_o
