Is this your personal list, or the list that someone wrote for everyone who's head is stuck up his ass? In truth: It all depends on personal opinion. EX: I think Volke is on my 'top' list. Okay, I think I get the top tier choices. Paladins, tons of them, for the reason that they can Sol, so in theory, they can live forever. Not to mention weapon choice (they can get 2 weapons on the weapons triangle, right?). Also, Oscar and Boyd are both Earth affinity, right? So the support would be evasion based. And, do correct me if I`m wrong, but aren`t axes the best weapons in this game? Which means Oscar and Boyd would make top tier, right? I guess because sword uses are difficult to use in PoR (due to enemy weapon choice in later chapters and the lack of easily accessible ranged swords) they would make lower tier lists. But Ike not being on top tier? I know some Ike`s get RNG screwed, but I almost always (post-premote) would feel perfectly okay with letting Ike try and solo maps (with the exception being maps where Priests carry Sleep staves). Boyd, though he's awesome, doesn't have the best utility out there. What the fuck is Haar doing in low mid? And what is Muarim doing above anybody good? Soren is considerably better than Ilyana. I beseech you to find good reason to the contrary. Tanith is not that good. She's not even close to that good. She certainly doesn't beat out Ike. Sothe? whut Shinon low, and Rolf in bottom. Alright. Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man. You can make a difference! End discrimination against prepromotes (Haar, Stefan damn it, Geoffrey) today! Plus Ike almost always is my best unit and Soren tends to rain death on all mages who oppose him. Oscars good but Ike will almost always beat him out. Ike should be top. After he promotes, he's basically unkillable. Mordecai is way too slow and lacks in skill. Volke should at least be higher than Sothe. Sothe should be way low....He's outclassed by Volke in every way. Shinon and Rolf should be on the same tier....They both kinda have the similar stats by 20/20. Rolf's tends to be slightly higher.... Liz Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 as much as i like to accept people's opinions, in my opinion this list is just wrong. Marcia is WAY superior than Tanith, in almost every way. Kieran tends to be better statwise than Oscar for me. Mia doesn't deserve to be middle, and definitely not under Stefan. Ike is arguably the best unit in the game. Ilyana and Soren are practically equals. Elincia is a beast, especially with Amiti, doesn't deserve to be at low. Mordecai at high? just NO! Jill and Haar, so far apart in the list? their goodness depends on how you play, actually. Rolf is a beast once leveled up. the biggest no, is perhaps Sothe in Mid tier. he doesn't even promote! he should be lower, unless you're considering transferring data to RD. Actually, Rolf does make a little sense being in a low tier, because he comes in underleveled. Statwise, he's still inferior to Shinon. Compare them both at 20/20 and you'll see that their stats are close to each other(as long as one or the other doesn't get RNG blessed or screwed).
