Hawk King
CR-S01, you have to take L'achel with Rennac. Edit your post. I take EWAN. Edited March 28, 2012 by Hawk King
Jave
I already picked Dozla, so CR-S01 gets L'arachel by default. Hawk King can only pick Ewan I have to go back to Lute to get Knoll And Tycho gets Marisa. Teams done! Good luck competitors!

Tycho
Are undrafted units allowed to visit villages? Am I allowed to bring unforced undrafted units into a chapter just to shop?
Hawk King
Hey Jave, What about items gained while training the trainees in the tower? One of the enemies always has a dropable spear if you save at the tower and reset and enter with the "default" RN's...
Jave
Are undrafted units allowed to visit villages? Am I allowed to bring unforced undrafted units into a chapter just to shop? No to the first, yes to the second. Map shopping is allowed either way. Hey Jave, What about items gained while training the trainees in the tower? One of the enemies always has a dropable spear if you save at the tower and reset and enter with the "default" RN's... Never actually thought about that.Eh, you can use those, you get plenty of sources for weapons and money in the game anyway.
Hawk King
They are SPEARs though... not javelins. Very rare. Sell for lots of money.
Jave
Mmm... if you put it that way, yeah, it's kind of an unfair advantage considering only three of us can use the tower. So no. Keep or discard it if you get it, but no using or selling it.
Tycho
Personally I'm against keeping loot from the tower, it should only be used to train the trainees. Just my opinion. I already started and got the first short chapters done up to 5. Prologue: 4 turns Chapter 1: Eirika and Gilliam team work. Eirika got some Str level ups and was able to ORKO the boss with the Rapier. 5 turns / 9 total Chapter 2: Rescued Ross with Vanessa, the Hatchet could come in handy later on with its good Hit rate. Left Garcia on his own so he could clear the upper right area on his own. Eirkia did most of the rest, Gilliam wasn't much help here. More Str for Eirika. 6 turns / 15 total Chapter 3: Welcome Neimi. Again Eirika almost soloed the chapter, luckily she turns out very blessed so far. Rapier Crit on the boss for a 1HKO. Recruited Colm at the very end, so he could open the chests as a neutral character. 7 turns / 22 total Chapter 4: Gilliam defended the left side, with Eirka, Artur and Neimi clearing the rest. Artur's first level only got HP. Eirika continues to be massively Str blessed, Lv 11,HP 22, Str 11, Skl 16, Spd 14, Lck 13, Def 5, Res 4. Gilliam on the other hand turns out horribly, still at 3 base speed with only 1 Str and Def gain in 4 levels. Also my vulnerary consumption is pretty high with no healer, and my only healer in the future will be promoted Artur. 7 turns / 29 total Edited March 28, 2012 by Tycho
Jave
Prologue (2/2) Chapter 1 (5/7) The traditional Eirika solo turns. Nothing fancy. Chapter 2 (6/13) Mostly Eirika Rapiertanked. Lucky crit on Bone allowed me to save a turn. Need to save those Rapier uses for later. Edited March 28, 2012 by Jave
Tycho
One more question: am I allowed to deliberatley use undrafted characters and take the 4 turn penalty?

Tycho
Chapter 5: Eirika cleared the right side and the boss, Gilliam and Artur struggled with the few enemies on the left. Both gained bad level ups, but Eirika got even more blessed. Neimi went to the southern village for the Dracoshield. I made a mistake though. I thought for the Guiduing Ring after the chapter you needed all villages intact, instead you need to actually visit all and I skipped the last. Saved me one turn, though now I have to wait quite a while for the next one until Artur can become my healer. But he still needs a lot of training anyway with his shitty level ups. 10 turns / 39 total Chapter 5x: Orson solo. I slowed a bit down to get the two chest keys for later. Ephraim got one bad level. 11 turns / 50 total Chapter 6: Eirika rushed to the boss as best she could. 6 turns / 56 total Chapter 7: I used undrafted Vanessa to ferry Eirika to the boss. 5+4 turns / 65 turns Unit analysis: Gilliam finally got two speed but is still below average, Artur got only bad levels so far and Neimi is pretty useless anyways. Eirika is amazing though, I think this is the best Eirika I ever had: Lv 19, HP 27, Str 16, Skl 20, Spd 19, Lck 19, Def 9, Res 5. Str blessed by 5 points! Jave
Chapter 3 (7/20) Quick wall breaking, and rush Eirika. Ross got a level farming with the lone brigand in the south room. No treasure. Chapter 4 (8/28) Vanessa went for Lute, Eirika down the bridge, and Dad & Son took the reinforcements. Unit Level HP S/M Skl Spd Lck Def Res Weapon Support Eirika 9.64 19 8 12 12 9 5 4 C Sword Vanessa 4.67 19 6 9 14 6 7 7 D Lance Ross 5.96 19 6 5 3 10 3 0 E Axe Garcia 7.10 31 11 8 7 4 5 1 C Axe Lute 2.83 18 7 6 7 8 3 6 C Anima
Tycho
Chapter 8: Eirika went straight for the boss with a little support from Artur, everyone else helped Ephraim. I brought Seth along to trade in Ephraim's Chest Key and bring it to Artur for the Angelic Robe. 9 turns / 74 total And now the big question: which route to take? Eirika would be the obvious choice, because it's easier and because of my awesome Eirika. But a lot of factors also point to Ephraim's route. I would get Cormag 3 chapters earlier, Duessel 4 chapters earlier and since I would probably fail to reach Amelia in time without high move units, I'd get her 4 chapters earlier. Marisa is earlier on Eirika's route, but I'd probably get penalties recruiting her. Plus I'd have a Lord with a two range option and could get him some proper training. In the hopes that I won't regret it, I take Ephraim's route. Chapter 9: I promoted Gilliam to a (not so) Great Knight, he now has 7 Spd. Ephraim is still a bit frail and can't rush through the chapter, so Gilliam came in useful with some tanking. As a consequence my turns took a serious hit though. The Sleep Staffs luckily all missed, except the very last one on Gilliam close to the boss. This cost another few turns. Recruited Amelia with Franz and hid them both in a corner. Ephraim (Axereaver) and Artur teamed up to take down Gheb. Overall a very bad chapter for my run, but I don't think I could've done it much faster. I probably should've redone it, but my units apart from Eirika got a bad start and just aren't capable of rushing through. Let's just get on with it... 21 turns / 95 total Trained Amelia in the Tower to Cavalier. She got quite respectable levels (didn't write them down unfortunately). Chapter 10: This one was tough and required some restarts because of the ballistae sniping my weak units to death and the Cav reinforcements from behind trapping me in the middle. Neimi, Artur and Amelia really were more a liability than help in this chapter. Finally I barely survived, recruited Cormag and got both villages. 10 turns / 105 total Chapter 11: The dreaded Phantom Ship! Well, not so dreaded with powerful units like Duessel and Cormag. I actually didn't field Neimi and Amelia, because there's nowhere to hide in this chapter. I boosted Cormag with a Speedwing, Dracoshield, Secret Book and Angelic Robe. No Torch Staff was quite annoying, but overall this chapter wasn't so bad. The boss could've been troublesome, but a Killer Lance to his face solved that problem. Cormag reached level 15 and I promoted him after the chapter to Wyvern Knight. Gilliam actually doubled a lot of enemies with his 7 Spd. 7 turns / 112 total Chapter 12: Cormag cleared most of the way to Ewan's village, then rushed to the boss with some Elixirs and a Pure Water. Duessel got the village, the others stayed on the south end of the map, training on the enemies there. If only I didn't have to recruit Marisa, I could've done this 1-2 turns faster. And I don't even suppose she will be much help either. But with so few characters in a draft I didn't want to skip one entirely. Is it even allowed to skip a drafted character or is that a requirement? I gave Ephraim the Dracoshield after the chapter. 6 turns / 118 total Chapter 13: Artur finally promoted to Bishop before the chapter, he was level 15. Cormag went right through the middle, killing the boss on turn 2 and annihialting everything else in the vicinity, then dealt with the Peg reinforcements. Before the last Peg he actually went out of weapons, which cost me one turn. Duessel and Amelia with support by Tethys cleared the right side, everyone else the left. Got both villages. Neimi finally reached level 10 and can promote to Ranger. Still unimpressive stats but more utility. Gave the Energy Ring to Artur. 8 turns / 126 total Chapter 14: Cormag and Duessel rushed through the right side, with Artur constantly restoring them while staying out of the Berserk range. My four weaklings Gilliam, Neimi, Amelia and Marisa went to the middle treasure room while fighting to the death with some lowly fighters and soldiers. They got the Hammerne and 10000G. Amelia reached level 10 and will be promoted next level to Paladin. Marisa is at 8.97. L'Ara recruited Rennac. Cormag killed the boss with the heavy spear. 10 turns / 136 total Edited April 2, 2012 by Tycho
Hawk King
@Tycho With your team Ephriam route is a much much much much better way to go. Especially since Cormag actually cost an extra 4 turms to recruit in Eirikas route. I plan to start this very soon.
Tycho
Chapter 15: Cormag cleared the way to Valter and then the Peg reinforcements, Duessel killed Valter with Garm. Ephraim and Eirika, with some additional chip damage from others, took care of Caellach just in time before the next wave of reinforcements. Got the Swiftsole, Body Ring and of course Warp. Swiftsole goes to Cormag. 7 turns / 143 total Chapter 16: Unfortunately Artur hadn't reached A Staff at the beginning of the chapter, but with some Barrier spamming he got it a couple turns into the chapter. 10 move Cormag rushed to the boss, Ephraim got warped the second half of the way. 8 turns / 151 total Chapter 17: Artur had just enough magic to warp Ephraim past the mages for a clear walk to the boss on turn one. Cormag got the Brave Axe. My Ephraim is really weak, 15 Str compared to Eirika's 19 Str. Marisa didn't get any EXP the last three chapters and is still unpromoted. 2 turns / 153 total Edited April 2, 2012 by Tycho
Jave
Chapter 5 (8/36) Man, this sucked. Either way recruited Joshua for his sword and Eirika used the armorslayer on the boss. Thanks to Vanessa I got all the villages and the Guiding Ring. Chapter 5x (9/45) I hate this stupid map. Damn you Orson. Chapter 6 (5/50) Eirika rushed to the boss. No biggie. Chapter 7 (5/55) Vanessa ferried Eirika to the boss while the rest trained south. Chapter 8 (11/66) Ugh. I'm ashamed. Ross promoted to Pirate. Everyone rushed to the boss while Ephraim cleaned below. Garcia got a lucky critical on the boss which shaved a turn. Hawk King
Prologue: 2/2 I really think 2 turns here should be banned. Chapter 1: 5/7 Eirika kills boss. Franz kills all but 2 enemies. Chapter 2: 5/12 Eirika does most of the killing. Franz gets the red gem and a couple kills. Chapter 3: 6/18 Franz is really good. Dropped Eirika next to the boss on turn 5. Franz finished him on turn 6 so Eirika could seize. Chapter 4: 6/24 Eirika took out the Northern reinforcements and Franz killed everything else. Chapter 5: 6/30 Got all the treasure, and Franz killed the boss on EP 6. Chapter 5x: 7/37 Orson escorted Ephriam to the throne, Forde just killed what they left behind. (credit to General Horace for the basic strategy) Chapter 6: 4/41 Franz wasnt OP enough to reach the boss in 3 turns, but Josh was able to get an Iron Axe and Blade. Nastasha spammed torch. Chapter 7: 7/48 Eirika crossed the river, Josh and Nastasha got the pure water, Franz went around and killed EVERYTHING. It could have been 6 turns if Eirika's STR were 1 higher to 1RKO an acher.
