FabledTome
I don't know......I've been watching more and more of the 'critical darlings' from last year, but it hasn't been shaping up to be an interesting or particularly good year for film, imo. A Separation **1/2 Blackthorn ** That's the most I've really been able to take away from what I've seen. Strong B grade stuff, but nothing essential (especially not the latter title, what basically amounts to an unnecessary sequel to 1969's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid). Nothing high/top tierish or even a B+. Though I'd say 2010 hasn't been notably strong either. Or stronger.
frat_tastic
I'd suggest Weekend. British indie romantic drama film, and very well done. There were some decent movies. I haven't seen a lot of the films that were up for best picture yet, but the ones I have (Moneyball and Hugo) were pretty good. Not revolutionary or anything but decent. Original Alear
I really liked A Separation, but w/e. Also enjoyed Moneyball.
Rehab
I liked Moneyball, too, though I'm not a regular movies guy. Been wanting to watch Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
