Espinosa
I was bored so I used the information from the website to make a full list of support triangles possible in different games of the FE series. I only did this in the games where you have to manually activate the support (and besides PoR, work towards it consciously), because with games like FESD, though you can have several characters returning supports to each other, it's not really a triangle per se and not limited in any way (you can have your Midia/Boah/Dolph/Macellan/Tomas, though not all of them return supports as well as give them). There may be some I left out by accident or being inattentive, but I think it should be it. Othin
I wonder what the supports in Awakening will be like... I don't think we'll see support triangles in Awakening, if that's what you're asking. From what I can gather, characters receive a support bonus from one adjacent ally at a time. They appear to need to choose if there are multiple allies available; if they're teaming up with another ally with Double, I'm guessing they team up with them automatically. (Wonder if this means they won't be available to team up with other characters.) There's no indication of affinities, but they get bonuses to various percentages. As far as I can tell, they can get a Hit bonus even without any support levels, but they can add Avo, Crit, and CEV bonuses, probably at the three support levels. Also, I assume support levels affect the chance of bringing the supporting character into battle to attack. All the bonuses seem to be normally set to +10, but there's at least one instance of more; a screenshot on the site shows Frederick receiving a support bonus from Liz giving him +15 Hit and +10 to the other three. I'm not sure about the circumstances of this, since another video showed Serge receiving +10 to all four percentages from Vake, so if that's from the A rank support, the additional +5 Hit comes from something else or something beyond that. Whatever it comes from (lover bonus, maybe?), it seems like a rather small addition. Anyway, nice finds. Never noticed how shallow FE9 was in terms of support triangles. --- Poking around some videos, my impressions of the bonuses are: -: +10 Hit C: +10 Hit, +10 Avo B: +10 Hit, +10 Avo, +10 CEV A: +10 Hit, +10 Crit, +10 Avo, +10 CEV S: +15 Hit, +10 Crit, +10 Avo, +10 CEV In the scenes I checked, the character pairs that displayed an "S-rank" support, with +15 Hit, were Frederick + Liz, Krom + Mariabel, and Vake + Serge: all male/female pairs. May not be a coincidence. Edited April 9, 2012 by Othin
zahlman
"S-rank" support This involves having sex, right?
deranger
This involves having sex, right? hahahahaha YES YOU CAN break through the friend zone.
Othin
This involves having sex, right? Well, the latest update confirmed S-rank supports for "certain" couples. And children can be involved. So I do believe you're right.
Espinosa
I guess FE Awakening will be inspirational to all adolescents seeking advice on how to raise their A support with their loved one to the S level.
whase
except for ewan-ross-amelia, I like support squares better. why aren't there any support squares on the site?
Caliban of Sycorax
Support squares, in my mind, are better because all four participants get an A and B support. I love support squares. I've done great ones like Eirika-Seth-Franz-Forde and Eliwood-Hector-Florina-Lyn before... very helpful.
Espinosa
Noticed I left out Ephraim-Forde-Kyle support triangle somehow. I might be missing some more, I don't know. Support squares sound like a great idea, I should try making a list of those too. It will probably be a much bigger list, and a lot more difficult to complete too (since it's too easy to miss out on some squares with 4 participants). Espinosa
Doesn't seem like Eirika and Franz have a support.
Espinosa
Here are the possible support squares in Path of Radiance: Ike - Oscar - Tanith - Reyson - Ike Ulki - Rhys - Titania - Boyd - Ulki Rolf - Mist - Titania - Rhys - Rolf Tanith - Oscar - Kieran - Marcia - Tanith Rolf - Marcia - Gatrie - Shinon - Rolf Ulki - Boyd - Mist - Mordecai - Ulki Devdan - Tormod - Calill - Nephenee - Devdan 7 total Maybe there could be more than I managed to find. Going to work on support squares in the other games too, but those will take a while.

Agreed-it's quite the comprehensive list, but it usually creates some unbreakable strategies.
bookofholsety
You left out Marisa-Joshua-Gerik. Throw in Tethys supporting Marisa and Gerik, and you've also got yourself a decent support square.
