Firstly, the new quote boxes are nice. As well as blue skies improvement.

I fucking hate freshman girls, which would be cool and normal, if I wasn't a freshman.

People bitch about life because it throws bitch shit at em. Life is actually quite fun if you know when to make shit a total joke, but you must know where the lines lay.

I'm fucking scatterbrained and never get over 7 hours of sleep anymore, do i love it? Yes.

My friend who transferred schools is now a total dumbass, doesn't it suck when people turn into shit they never would? Wish I wouldn't have fallen out of contact with him, but its completely out of my power.

Seth Meyers is RT'ing everything about #IfIwasaBritishPornStar WTF??

I love you guys.

Hey it's one of the few people here that actually gives a shit about sports! I'm not alone anymore!

Yeah man! You see the Knicks Bulls game yesterday? Was about to shit myself after Melo's 2nd triple.

He eyed Deng so bad! Technically they shouldn't have even been in that position if JR Smith would actually hit an open shot. I was sorta in disbelief that Rose missed that last shot though, but ehh he just came back after missing 12 games.

You catch any baseball this weekend? My Tigers swept Bawwwwwston!

JR was so so bad lol. But he did rebound good and play nice D, which was so weird from him, shoot bad and do everything else good. I was surprised Rose missed those FTs, but I wouldn't say shocked, he does get a break due to injuries though. Hoping tomorrow night is just as good.

I'm not big on baseball these days, but hear the Tigers are pretty good now so I hope they do good if you like them. Astros are so bad now and they're the only team I've ever really kept up with.

Are you from Detroit or just a random Tiger fan?

EDIT: Helios, you've only been here since February?? I could've sworn I'd seen you before then.

Right? Since when did JR play a complete game and have no offense? He did make the game that much more exciting for non-Knicks fans though. I can't wait for tomorrow night! Tigers during the day and basketball at night! That's the way to spend time on an otherwise boring Tuesday.

Haha I'm from Grand Rapids, which is a few hours away from Detroit. Ironically Cleveland is my hometown, but I've just never been able to like Ohio sports, and always preferred the Detroit teams. I haven't been to a Tigers game for at least 10 years though, so my goal is to go to one this year (I was gonna go to one last year with a lady friend, but let's just say shit happened lol).

Tigers are arguably World Series contenders, and are pretty much a lock to win their division bar horrible injuries to key players. We were supposed to make the World Series in 08 when we got Cabrera though, so I'm not sipping the kool-aid just yet. But I'm really excited about this year's team. We'll go as far as our pitchers take us.

I bandwagonned the Astros in 05, not gonna lie, because a buddy of mine loves Houston sports and rubbed off on me (he also made me sorta like the Eagles in Philly and the MTL Habs lol). I'm really sad to see them suck so badly after that year though. They really have nothing now. Do they even have a farm system? Moving to the AL probably won't help much as well...

JR is so unpredictable, but that's why he's so lovable haha.

Oh ok, I've met some people from Grand Rapids. Cleveland is snake bitten much like Houston, except we got the dream for those years, so I understand not becoming attached to teams like that.

Yeah, we're a total joke nowadays. No real future, long rebuilding process in baseball. Thankfully the Rockets and Texans are good now, which are the sports I watch more anyways.

JR is one of my favorite players to watch. He can either go on a tear and look like one of the best players in the league, or he can make you wonder why he ever gets play time.

It's not even their history or anything...I just never liked them.

So do I! We're 4-0 so far.

Texans have been so lowkey until last year. They finally took that step last year. Had Schaub not gotten injured, I think they could have gone deep. How are you guys without Super Mario though? Also, Rockets are the kings of getting role players to outperform.

I wish every topic was about sports

Sarcasm?

Knicks have a lot of guys like this. Streaky, streaky team.

Also, I just wanna say that as a Laker fan, I think the Spurs are going to win the title.(Unless we can just out size and out muscle them)

Saw they won today too.

I think we could have beaten the Ravens with Schaub, but the real culprit was Jacoby Jones. (Guy who muffed the punt at the 5) I'm not really sweating Mario too much, I'm more worried about losing Eric Winston(Our best run blocker, but struggles in pass blocking) and Demeco Ryans(Middle linebacker, great against the run and a huge leader for the team). Mario can be great, but has taken games off and is injury prone.

Yes, that credit goes to Daryl Morey. I think we are going to be dangerous in the playoffs with Lowry back.

Maybe to you, but never to Fenrir, so no.

That's the best way to describe them. They won Sunday when the Bulls had Rose, and then without him today they lost. Wtf?

I'm still going with my preseason pick, the Thunder, but that's cuz I've bandwagonned them ever since they got Durant. I knew since high school that dude was gonna be a star and I'm proud of it.

With Verlander pitching tomorrow, another win is a big possibility. Seriously the most dominating pitcher in baseball right now. Glad he's on the Tigers.

Personally I think the Ravens should have went to the Superbowl, and I agree with you. I did not know that they got rid of Demeco...that's a stupid move. He's such a lowkey solid MLB and like you said a leader of the defense. I didn't know much about Winston (OLineman that aren't on your favorite team are you usually pretty under the radar) . Mario does get injured, but he's a force when he's on the field. I think the Bills overpaid for him though, and personally I'm not sure why the Texans move him to OLB (he didn't seem as comfortable IMO).

As you know, I'm a Detroit sports fan, so I root for the Lions. It was really nice to see them get to the playoffs for the first time this decade. If it wasn't for so much refball against the Saints, I think they coulda won personally.

The Rockets are such a lowkey team. Lowry is a solid PG that no one really talks about. He's got a high basketball IQ and can dish out some dimes. Patterson needs to step it up though and live up to the hype. You guys need a solid big though (if only Yao didn't get injured so much he had to retire), and I keep hearing rumors about Howard. My buddy is a big Rockets fan and keeps me fairly updated haha.

Yeah, not a lot of offense tonight outside of Melo.

Thunder's inability to score in the post gives me a lack of faith in them.

Well, good luck on their run.

Yeah, Ravens should of made it but that's why they kick it.i hate kicking in football so fucking much Apparently we were in cap space hell, loaded contracts on their front end and we need to re sign Arian Foster. that dude is fucking amazing, can't describe him any other way, seeing him live is truly breathtaking when he makes one of those crazy cuts. As for Mario, he can be great, but you hit it it perfectly, not worth 120 million. We moved him to OLB because of Wade Phillips 3-4 scheme(Antonio Smith and JJ Watt played the defensive end positions, and they're both very good there) and he wasn't horrible, verdict was still out at the point he was injured.

As you know, I'm a Detroit sports fan, so I root for the Lions. It was really nice to see them get to the playoffs for the first time this decade. If it wasn't for so much refball against the Saints, I think they coulda won personally.

Yeah, fuck the Saints. My favorite teams(In order) are the Giants, Texans and Colts. Didn't think the Saints were the best team in that superbowl the Colts lost. How fucking bitter can i be tonight?

Yeah, nobody tries to do dumb shit, all our guys know their limits but still can pick up their games.(Basically we're the anti-Knicks) Lowry is really fun to watch, he will bowl over opposing centers and hit 3's from 30 feet. When people call him a tough Philly kid, they aren't kidding around. We've got Sam Dalembert and Marcus Camby now, and those two are doing a good job of protecting the paint.

So you're a Pistons fan rooting for the Thunder while you pray for a unibrow to go to the motor city?

Is this fucking SF? Or some ESPN forum?

True, but that's kinda what you get with more defensive-minded bigs like Perkins and I-block-a. Durant and Westbrook (and occasionally Harden) provide quite the offensive oomph, but if Durant is cold the team will suffer. Still though, I like their chances.

Cundiff must have been the most hated man in Maryland after that. Pats lost to the Giants again though; you must have been ecstatic. Hell I was pretty happy...who doesn't love seeing the Pats and Belicheat lose?

Arian Foster is amazing. I love how all these top round picks go to all these rbs that have no shelf life, and then you got undrafted guys like Arian Foster who work their asses off and end up becoming stars. Hope Chris Johnson learns from him. Now that he's paid though, will he perform? Also, Antonio Smith was who I was forgetting. I could have seen them doing a 3 man rotation at DE...woulda kept Mario more fresh and less injured IMO. It's what the Lions do, and it's worked pretty well so far. I'm not a coach though, and rightfully so haha.

I personally wanted the Saints to win that game, because I felt like they were the better team and deserved it. Didn't know they wanted to kill everyone at the time though lol. Seriously, you see those allegations? I know it's football, but trying to actually injure players is kinda messed up. I can understand saying that to pump up the squad and all, but actually intending to do it? Really?

I like the Rockets style of play. Reminds me of the Pistons of old (aka mid 2000s lol). Also, yes, we want the unibrow to join our Knight and Hoya and become a squad to be feared. All we need is an effective SG (aka not Stuckey) and a replacement for the Prince after that...and some depth....yeah we got a ways to go. Rebuilding sucks.

Seeing as this is a two man conversation, we're still on SF lol.

I just want to say I really like talking about OKC. I don't think anybody has ever won a title with a build like OKC, so little balance since almost all their scoring is from the perimeter. That being said, when they get hot, they are unstoppable. But there will be off nights for Durant and Westbrook in the playoffs, we'll see how it plays out. Bottom line, the WC is wide open this year and 4 teams could come out of it.(Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, Grizz)

Yeah, I was more than happy to play the Pats because I knew we have their number. I also hate them due to my time living in Indianapolis.

Great, great story indeed.

This is a good idea in theory, but it doesn't allow you to put your most skilled players on the field at the same time. And ego's get in the way.

I don't want to condemn the Saints for bountygate, here's a link to a great article by Bill Simmons on it if you have time. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7779341/when-do-draw-line-nfl-violence

Yeah, there's a few teams this year who don't have a true star, but the Rockets resemble those mid 2000's teams the most. Big strong floor leader who hits deep deep 3's,(Lowry/Billups) a 2-guard who is a deadeye running off screens,(RIP/Kevin Martin) of course we have no Sheed, but Parsons is a long lanky defender like Tayshaun. And Camby/Bear don't compare AT ALL to Ben Wallace. I do think though that Pat Patterson is kinda likea short and not nearly as good McDyess. Of course all those players are poor man versions of the Detroit guys.

Anybody else besides Davis you are hoping for? I know a lot of people don't like Drummond but I think he'd be great next to Greg Monroe.(Who never gets the credit he deserves) That way you guys would have a great shot blocker(In theory what Drummond is) and a very skilled guy on the block.

I honestly don't know how they do it, but they make it work. They only have 3 guys that can score on the team, but Durant just never seems to have an off day. It's hard to knock on them because even with there unorthodox style they're still at the top of the West. Then again, the west doesn't seem as dominant anymore as it used to be IMO, probably because the Spurs (though still a great team) are getting a little old. Do you think Tim Duncan will still be effective in the playoffs? I imagine he'll be needing more rest these days.

Yeah, oddly enough, you guys do. I think it's due to your pass rush disrupting Brady's timing, and their lack of a consistent run game, not to mention their inability to cover Andre Johnson.

True true, and I guess that's where you'd need some packages with Mario at LB, similar to what the Lions did with Suh (they'd have him play at DE, or even MLB sometimes because of our depth at DT). You're right, but I think at the very least JJ Watt seems like a team player. Idk about the other two though. Doesn't matter anymore though, Mario's gone. Do you guys have a solid nose tackle? Who do you think you'll be targeting in the draft?

I'll check it out tonight when I'm procrastinating from editing papers lol.

Haha that does sound like a poor man's Detroit Pistons. But remember that all those guys on the Pistons team were all under the radar to most of the NBA, but very effective. Apart from KMart and Camby, who've reached their prime already, all the guys you stated are young and have a lot of potential. I think if they can just get that one superstar they'll be western conference championship contenders similar to the Grizzlies.

I have a feeling Drummond is gonna end up like Hasheem Thabeet. NBA ready body but no game. I do kinda like Harrison Barnes, but I'm not sure if we've given up on Daye yet who was supposed to be the heir to the Prince's throne. Apart from unibrow there isn't a franchise player in this draft, and I doubt the Pistons will get the first pick so I think we'll be doomed to mediocrity for a few more years.

Durant sure is a machine, and I agree it's unfair to disqualify them due to their unusual play style, it just makes me uneasy.(As a fan of two teams who could come across them, Houston and LA, I don't know if I want them or am scared to death of them)

To answer the Duncan question, 3 hours ago when you posted this I would've said something like 'Oh sure, he can still be good defensively and score them enough points to keep the opposition from spreading their D out and stopping the Spurs 3's and penetration'. But after Bynum had 30 rebounds against the Spurs, I think he can only be effective against the smaller teams.(OKC, LAC, Dallas, Denver, and maybe Houston depending on how Camby plays him) I try to never put to much stock into one game, but I've had a feeling the Lakers could do this so the Spurs all year(This was their first meeting) and we saw what the Grizz did in the playoffs last year. Basically, the Spurs are in big trouble if they meet the Lakers or Grizz, but I think they would beat everyone else in a 7 game series.

Yeah, oddly enough, you guys do. I think it's due to your pass rush disrupting Brady's timing, and their lack of a consistent run game, not to mention their inability to cover Andre Johnson.

Firstly, who are your Lion's interested in getting this off season? I've head DB is there need, but don't know that team too well.

Watt might be a team guy, and since he was a rookie I doubt he was too entitled, but Antonio and Mario are pretty prideful. Shaun Cody is our nose tackle, he's competent. In Wade's 3-4, it doesn't feature the nose tackle very much anyways, so it's not a huge need but we could upgrade there. Offensive line or WR is where our first rounder is going. I'm really hoping we could snag Kendall Hunter from Baylor but I don't know if he'll fall to us. Also, you may think WR is weird because we have Andre, but getting a fast guy is perhaps our biggest need and I've been saying it for a while. Our 2nd and 3rd guys flat out SUCK, they failed to produce when Andre went down and we payed. The tight ends did pick up some of the slack though, and Kubiak features them heavily.

I'll check it out tonight when I'm procrastinating from editing papers lol.

Bill Simmons is so awesome, he's probably my favorite sports writer in the world.

Haha that does sound like a poor man's Detroit Pistons. But remember that all those guys on the Pistons team were all under the radar to most of the NBA, but very effective. Yeah, I agree with pretty much all your points. Just wanna say, getting a superstar has been really hard. We missed on Melo and Dwight already, but maybe we could still land Dwight if Orlando gets fed up with him.

I have a feeling Drummond is gonna end up like Hasheem Thabeet. NBA ready body but no game. I do kinda like Harrison Barnes, but I'm not sure if we've given up on Daye yet who was supposed to be the heir to the Prince's throne. I think that's definitely a valid fear, and they were both UConn guys too. Major difference I've seen, Drummond at least looks like he belongs on the court with his athleticism and shot blocking ability, (Never watched Thabeet much in college, but saw him for Rockets in garbage time) while Thabeet looks so totally lost on both sides of the floor, no area where he showed ANY potential.

Yeah, this draft has a lot of guys who I would peg as a player who might pan out and be the second best player on a really good team(Or if you took two of these guys you'd have a really good 1-2 punch) but none of them stand out as a franchise guy. Kidd-Ghilchrist probably could end up in an Iggoudala(Shit, is that spelled right?) type role. And Perry Jones III is full of potential, but who knows with him?

Hell yeah. I've been trying to make sports threads in the General section, but no one answers them and I either double post or just sit there and watch it decay. I'm really glad there's someone here I can actually discuss this stuff with that isn't all like "sports are fun to play, but pointless to watch". Hate that argument lol.

Durant sure is a machine, and I agree it's unfair to disqualify them due to their unusual play style, it just makes me uneasy.(As a fan of two teams who could come across them, Houston and LA, I don't know if I want them or am scared to death of them)

For LA, please recall that game 7 series a few years ago, and remember that they are even better now while LA is worse. Thunder definitely need some depth to at least give them some more scoring options, but idk what they do just works somehow. Even while watching them I'm dumbfounded how they can win so much. Now the Grizzlies on the other hand...they're one of those teams that are much better than their record indicates.

This is sort of what I was getting at. The Lakers and Grizz have too much size against the Spurs (Bynum and Gasol and other Gasol are all 7 footers) and Duncan just isn't the same as even 5 years ago. If he's gonna play his heart out, he's not gonna be able to have as many minutes too, which will put more pressure on Blair. Idk much about their bench though so idk. They do have lowkey depth though (out of nowhere they got Stephen Jackson and Boris Diaw lol).

Firstly, who are your Lion's interested in getting this off season? I've head DB is there need, but don't know that team too well.

IMO Dback and OLine are our main needs. Our GM Martin Mayhew likes to draft BPA (best player available) though, hence why we got Fairley last year even though our Dline is already stacked. Also, as of late, running back has become a need as well, because we have dumbasses who get caught smoking weed (Mikel Leshoure, our second round pick last year) or they're injury-prone (Jahvid Best, who is a big part of our offense, and Kevin Smith). I'm thinking we'll try and trade up for TRich if he falls past the top 10, but otherwise we'll probably get one of the Alabama secondary guys or an OLineman, and probably in the later rounds pick up a RB (maybe LaMicheal James, because he's kind of a smaller Jahvid Best). I was hoping we could have gotten Cortland Finnegan, but that plan failed, so maybe we can sweeten up a deal for Philly to get Asante Samuel. We REALLY need a true shutdown corner, because Houston is solid but not a number one guy. I'm honestly not sure who's in free agency this year, I'll have to do some research.

Awww Kevin Walter isn't that bad is he? He was pretty underrated a few years ago IMO, but idk anymore. I know that feel though. Even though we had Megatron and Burleson last year, I knew we needed a third WR to help stretch the D and keep more of the defense off Megatron, and the Lions new and drafted a nice deepthreat wideout who isn't afraid to go out and get the ball. Owen Daniels is pretty damn good IMO, and I think people are forgetting him with the two guys from NE and Jimmy Graham coming out of nowhere this year. What about your secondary though? I know they improved this year, but are they good enough now?

Bill Simmons is so awesome, he's probably my favorite sports writer in the world.

Him and Rick Reilly are my favorites. I like their style of writing; it keeps you entertained haha.

Yeah, I agree with pretty much all your points. Just wanna say, getting a superstar has been really hard. We missed on Melo and Dwight already, but maybe we could still land Dwight if Orlando gets fed up with him.

I'm a Pistons fan. We missed getting Melo, Dwade, and Bosh in the draft and got the biggest bust in history instead. I know that feel haha. Now no one wants to come to us too because of our coaching carousel and forever mediocrity squad.

Hasheem was a defensive force in college, but his offensive game was really meh tier. Still though, at the time I thought he could develop an offensive game with the right coaching (and you're 7 frickin 3, you should be able to have a post game for crying out loud!) but it never happened. Now he looks like a bafoon on the court and it's embarrassing. Oh what could have been lol.

I just spell it as "iggy" lol. I was actually thinking the same thing about Kidd-Gilchrist though. To me he seems like the one with the most potential after Davis, but risky at the same time. PJ3 is another guy with a big upside, but could be a big bust too. All depends on the coaching. Cody Zeller is staying at Indiana, which is too bad because he seems like he'd be a good player (undersized, but with a few years of lifting he'd be solid).

Yeah, I love a good talk about sports anywhere I can get it.

Small note, that series was 6 games not 7. It's true the Thunder are much better since then, but the Lakers aren't that much worse, Bynum has developed a lot since then. When you have 3 guys who can get their own shot, things tend to fall into place nicely. Defense is a big issue for them too though.

Spurs need to nail 3's to beat the Lakers. Against the Grizz though, I think they have a superior team, so it would be more of a fluke if the Grizz won. The matchup does favor them though.(I'm not betting on Pop to lose to the same team twice though)

IMO Dback and OLine are our main needs. Our GM Martin Mayhew likes to draft BPA (best player available) though, hence why we got Fairley last year even though our Dline is already stacked. BPA is a good strategy if you already have pieces in place,(Something the Lions do) it's how good teams can stay good. I hope Fairly turns out, I like him a lot. I'm doubting that TRich would fall that far, LaMichael would be a good fit there though. But I might go in the direction of a power back to change stuff up.

Awww Kevin Walter isn't that bad is he? He was pretty underrated a few years ago IMO, but idk anymore. I know that feel though. Yes, Walter will disappear for weeks at a time, he's got good hands but not much else. Our problem is this, Andre Johnson is great at everything. But he can't go deep and short at the same time which allows other teams to just double and triple him. The TE's do a good job, but aren't great deep or after the catch. Our secondary is definitely good enough. We get a lot of pressure and Jonathan Joseph can hang with most #1 wideouts in the league. Danial Manning was a big addition too, Kareem Jackson is still horrendous though.

Him and Rick Reilly are my favorites. I like their style of writing; it keeps you entertained haha.

Reilly takes pride in keeping his articles short, but I like a long story when I'm putting off homework.

I'm a Pistons fan. We missed getting Melo, Dwade, and Bosh in the draft and got the biggest bust in history instead. I know that feel haha. Now no one wants to come to us too because of our coaching carousel and forever mediocrity squad.

Darko, lol.

Thabeet is a lazy bastard. I can't sugar coat it.

For MKG, it's all about how his offensive game progresses. Worst case he probably turns into Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. PJ3 has bust written all over him, but has awesome versatile tall guy written all over him as well. Both Zeller's are fundamentally sound but they both lack strength. It will be interesting to see their careers play out.

Agreed. Especially on here, since it's pretty rare to find anyone who likes sports. We're all weaboos sad.gif.

When you have 3 guys who can get their own shot, things tend to fall into place nicely. Defense is a big issue for them too though.

Ahhhh I meant 6! I know the Lakers aren't much worse personnel-wise but you don't have Luke Walton anymore, but there's a big difference between Phil Jackson and Mike "the Clown" Brown. It honestly seems like the players don't want to play for him sometimes. Bynum is a beast though gg Perkins, so it comes down to Kobe being Kobe, and Pau not being soft on defense for them to win imo. Blackops is a big Lakers fan too btw, you should talk to him sometime about them.

I don't really agree that somebody is better than your record, you are what your record is. You can be better than you're record, but that's potential.

I see what you're saying. Basically what I meant it as, you can be better than you're record if it weren't for inhibiting factors (such as injuries or players not playing to their potential), so potentially they could be a lot better.

Spurs need to nail 3's to beat the Lakers. Against the Grizz though, I think they have a superior team, so it would be more of a fluke if the Grizz won. The matchup does favor them though.(I'm not betting on Pop to lose to the same team twice though)

Did you see the game tonight? I only saw the highlights on sportscenter, but Duncan (ironically enough) had a big game against them with 28 pts and 12 rebs. I think that was a big statement win to show that the Spurs aren't messing around this year, and they still have some energy left.

At the same though, if you're team is bad and you could use an improvement at any position, then BPA is the best bet. It's honestly how the Lions went from 0-16 to 10-6 (as well as smart trades, free agent pick ups, and waiver wire). Fairley is said to have lazy work ethic, but when he plays he looks like a beast, so I'm not sure what to think. I think this offseason will be a lot of help. Also, I agree that TRich will fall, but I'm just saying. LaMicheal is kinda small, but I like his quickness and he could fill a niche role nicely. I'd rather see us use our picks on our secondary and oline and even add some depth at LB, but Mayhew knows better than I do. It's been a while since I felt like I could trust Lions brass haha.

Haha I know what you mean, we have Megatron who is the same (but good luck beating him in a jump ball situation), so we got Burleson (who isn't afraid to go up the middle, but damn he can drop some easy ones sometimes) and a deep threat in Titus Young (who also can drop some passes, but he's young he'll get better). We also have a two solid TEs in Pettigrew (except he forgets how to catch the ball every game) and Scheffler (why don't more of our plays have him as a higher option?). I know Joseph is good, but who do you have after that? You guys did make a serious turn around though defensively under Wade Phillips. I think it's because of your solid pass rush though.

Reilly takes pride in keeping his articles short, but I like a long story when I'm putting off homework.

Haha I feel you. But I like having a quick read too sometimes!

He'll be better than Luc Africa. I honestly think he'll be a solid player, and maybe even borderline all star depending on his coaching. PJ3 is one of those guys I hope my team doesn't draft, but I'm curious to see how he ends up. I think the Zellers just need a couple more years to bulk up, and then they could really be something special.

Oh yes, I've never talked to BOPs about sports much. Mike Brown is a horrible offensive coach, but I'm hoping we can just win the west due to our size and Kobe being Kobe.(Our chances are pretty good too) Pau just needs to get the ball and be aggressive, he's an amazing player.

I see what you're saying. Basically what I meant it as, you can be better than you're record if it weren't for inhibiting factors (such as injuries or players not playing to their potential), so potentially they could be a lot better.

Yeah it's hard with injuries because the Grizz were without Z-Bo so long.

Did you see the game tonight? I only saw the highlights on sportscenter, but Duncan (ironically enough) had a big game against them with 28 pts and 12 rebs. I think that was a big statement win to show that the Spurs aren't messing around this year, and they still have some energy left.

I guess Duncan proved he can still turn the clock back for a night or two. The Spurs have swept the Grizz this year, expect them to win in the playoffs too.(Even though the matchups aren't great, they've got superior talent and coaching.)

At the same though, if you're team is bad and you could use an improvement at any position, then BPA is the best bet. Yes, this is also true. BPA is good if you're either really good or really bad.

I know Joseph is good, but who do you have after that? You guys did make a serious turn around though defensively under Wade Phillips. I think it's because of your solid pass rush though.

Our secondary is rough after Joseph, I think we cut Jason Allen,(Our #2 corner) so it's up to Kareem Jackson.(He's awful) Our FS is Glover Quin, he's fine. It's really all about the pass rush and Brian Cushing's general awesome-ness.

Is he even in the NBA still?

Sadly, he's still getting a paycheck from the TankBlazers. Rockets traded him, Flynn and a second rounder for Camby.

He'll be better than Luc Africa. I honestly think he'll be a solid player, and maybe even borderline all star depending on his coaching. PJ3 is one of those guys I hope my team doesn't draft, but I'm curious to see how he ends up. I agree he'll be better than Luc, that's probably he's floor. He could be a perennial all star with good development. I could see PJ3 ending up on a team like New Orleans with 2 lottery picks who needs to hit a home run on something.

FUCK too far.

Where are you at my dude?
