ZephyrD
But it's a DLC character, not just a random cameo. I honestly would have expected them to make a custom sprite (would you even call it that even though it's 3D?) for him and others as well. Ike isn't a DLC character. He's a random cameo in Marth's DLC. Ike appears as an NPC but is not recruitable. Marth is the only one recruitable on his DLC. arvilino
I like the reference they made with Sigurd's spotpass team of other worlders. Especially how it's ordered. Just call me AL
Ike isn't a DLC character. He's a random cameo in Marth's DLC. Ike appears as an NPC but is not recruitable. Marth is the only one recruitable on his DLC. They still could have at least made custom models for characters from previous games so that they would fit how the character looks. To pick an example in a past FE, even though the characters in question didn't appear in other FEs, there's Hawkeye who's in a general class, but his sprite matches his in-game appearance. Outside of FE, models of characters from VC1, though in the same uniform as everyone else in VC2, at least are consistent with the designs the characters themselves have.Ike's model in this game, on the other hand, looks nothing like him. Rather disappointing, if you ask me. Edited April 20, 2012 by Little Al
NeonZ
Keep in mind that the white and green clothes might be because he's just a neutral unit. The actual spot pass Ike we get later might have at least a blue tunic over white pants, even if it's still the generic mercenary model. ZephyrD
I certainly don't blame them for not trying very hard for a non-recruitable NPC unit in another character's DLC. It's still possible for him to have a fully custom sprite if he comes in a DLC rather than Spotpass. (Sigurd being Spotpass might just be because they planned on Celice being the FE4 DLC or something, who knows? Lots of possibilities.) And even if they did plan on a custom sprite, they wouldn't use it yet. They don't wanna spoil it!
