kryptonite
From what I remember, there was a rumor that JP games only used 1 RN (specifically FE6), but that was proven false. A friend of mine was complaining about missing in FE6 because of this and I told hi that it was false since FE6-8 all used 2 RNs for hit. So... does hit use 2 RNs in FE6? What about the other FE's (1-5)?

47948201
I'm roughly 100% sure FE6 uses the 2 RN system that 7 and 8 use as well (while all previous FEs use 1), but I think instead of rolling a number between 0 and 99, it rolls between 0 and 100, making a 100% chance able to miss.

EDIT: Whoop, guess my 100% missed.

EDIT2: Oh, okay, never mind XD
Edited May 27, 2012 by 47948201
Shin
FE1-5 use one RN, FE6 onwards use 2 for attack hit calculations.
Book of Ereshkigal
FE6 has an error in it that lets 100%s miss, though. 1-5 use one RN.
kryptonite
Wow, so many replies and so fast! Thanks everyone! Turns out I was looking in the wrong section... I was looking for Game Mechanics on FE6's page. XD
