In FE10 Begnion goes to war with the Laguz Alliance and kill a massive horde of them. The Dawn Brigade kick there asses in most of part 3.Izuka brings the fallen feral ones back to life so he can use them as shields and fight Tibarn and his team. Notice how pretty much every character that isn't an enemy feels guilty about killing laguz? Just because something portrays an act doesn't mean it condones it.
