Demo video and CM released

Recommended Posts

The originals can be found on the Japanese Nintendo Channel.

Some random observations:

  • The Shooter class has returned
  • Unlockables include Event Recap and Sound Room
  • Fog of War can be enabled for multiplayer battles
  • The commercial is pretty amusing

Also <3 Starlight. The music isn't too bad either...

The Japanese are proud of the tactic, "move armour knight onto bridge, have mage kill enemy" did you see how many times they used it? If only I could devise such devious strategies such as theirs.

They need to make that in real life, it would be so cool.

If memory serves, there were a few figurines of the older games' characters with similar bases :o That kinda suits your need.

Oh yeah: official site has some new art up. Linda and Oguma are of note.

It's like they reached out and stole that idea from my brain.

Anyway, this trailer makes me excited. I'm excited. My DS needs some loving. Last game I bought for it was FFTA2 and then before that it was.... Lunar Knights? I think. It was a pretty long stretch.

I'm rather glad Rhythm Tengoku Gold comes out a week before this or so: I've been playing strategy games already, so I don't want the experience to feel pasty. Some rhythm-centric gaming action is sure to give the Fire Emblem style a lot of room to grow back on me ^^

What I'll pro'lly do is open the ROM and see if there's anything worth posting about, and then as I play, I'll transfer my save onto the computer and take some snapshots of the characters and stuff :o

I wouldn't be so quick to jump to an R4 card. They're overpriced, rarely fully updated, and each new game seems to need one patch after the other to work. A SuperCard ONE is less than $30 and does everything the same, as well as numerous other cards. I suggest you look around a little more before you decide to go with the R4 again: at this point, only idiotic loyalists and people who don't know what they're wanting decide to buy an R4 :/

Well, if you're still lazy, dealextreme has a good price on the SuperCard ONE, which is rather easy to use. GBAtemp has hardware boards for each major/minor flashcart brand for the DS, so you can browse around there too.
