Bolt Axe, Stun Lance, etc.

When one attacks with a Bolt Axe or a Stun Lance, do they take the Weapon Triangle into account? Would attacking a sword user with a bolt axe result in the Hit penalty, or would it just count as Magic and target resistance, thus ignoring the Weapon Triangle?

The weapon triangle is based on the categories of weapon. So , a Bolt Axe , is a Axe. A Stun Lance , a Lance...If i'm not wrong , these weapons just add some magics (wind..) for attack.

Yeah, weapon triangle counts. They're also all affected by Great Shield rather than Holy Shield.

So in theory it would be easy to bypass any of those pesky High Difficulty enemies with the Holy Shield + Counter Skill Combo by throwing a Dark Peg. / Dark Knight / Battle Clergy / other Hybrid Class character with a Magical Weapon, if I understood it right...

Not necessarily easy, but the ranged attacks let you get around both skills. Thrown weapons like Javelins and Hand Axes also get the job done without being so rare, though.

Stun Lances won't work, though: they only hit in melee, so they won't get around Counter.
