But there are also Dshinns that reduce the damage taken by 90%, 60% and 50% respectively. And anyone who uses them, will automatically go first. That should buy the time needed to pull it off.

Hate to nitpick, but it's Djinn. Also, since you mentioned Dullahan, a Djinn Storm practically seals your fate (though to be fair, a summon rush is about the only reasonable strategy against him). My stance is more of a moderate one, really; summon rushes, in my opinion, straddle the fine line between "gamebreaking" and "awesome, but impractical".

Well, apparently using names from a translation of a foreign language rather then your own makes you a weeaboo, which seems to be something undesirable. So of course I used the German translation. Well, except for the part were I wrote Dshinn instead of Dschinn and the part were I was merely guessing since I was to lazy to look up the English name.

On a slightly more honest note, I would agree with the summons if you couldn't start the match with them on standby. Or at least if the shield Dschinn would not exist. They trivialize any defense issues.

Speaking of those shield Dschinn, they should probably count as gamebreakers. Since their are several, they can be used to reduce damage by 90% in on turn and then by 60% in the next while the 90% one is readied to be used in the next round again. This can keep going on like that.

And I think Dullahan uses Dschinn Sturm Djinn Storm only once during his pattern before it repeats. So there is a pretty good chance to pull it off.

Well, I don't know (much) German, so...ah, nevermind. At any rate, I personally agree the shield Djinn (or at least Flash) are pretty broken. And I apologize if I sounded rude.

Wow, it's been a while since i posted this. Time to add to the list.

HYDRO STORM in Castlevania SoTN, and holy water in the first 2 games. Kills things horribly quickly, and, with holywater, stops the enemies in thier tracks.

Heavy machines in F-Zero GX. Snaking and flying off the track without dieing. No wonder the Black Bull always reaches me so often...

Spinning secret techniques in Muramasa: The Demon Blade, especially vertical spinning ones. Hits enemies many times, for not much spirit power from your sword. Add in sharpening stones and...

I disagree about the holy water. From what I remember, it's always hidden near the beginning of the stage. Because of that, you have to get through the whole level without dying once and the annoying enemies aren't all that affected by it like the Medusa heads. The Axe Knights run way from you and the worst enemies are the pits anyway. I think it's a deliberate design devision to reward you for having mastered the whole level.

Btw, I just remembered the Nod Artillery in Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun.

It's range is absolutely absurd and it's incredible powerful. A few of those can annihilate any threat before it gets to close. They also always hit, even when the explosion of the impact occurs somewhere else. That's probably a glitch.

Now, there are specialist units that are invisible or can travel underground... but the GDI doesn't have those. Those are all Nod units. And it doesn't help that all the units of the GDI are pretty slow.

Another Golden Sun gamebreaker would be the Sol Blade (though by the time you get it, there's not much game left, really). Especially with a setup to maximize unleash rates.

Holy Water is actually pretty easy to obtain in the first stage in Castlevania (1), and never actually hidden in subsequent stages. The thing that's wrong with that post, though, is that in Simon's Quest, Holy Water is useless as a weapon.

It doesn't have a stationary flame which freezes enemies? Damn, sorry about that.

I should've made it clearer earlier, but the issue with summons in Golden Sun was aimed mostly at the endgame summons, which require so many Djinn on standby that it's arguably not worth it.

Yeah. It does damage enemies if you can hit them with it, but it's just a tool to find fake floors/walls with and to destroy some destroyable floors/walls. It has no flame, but there's a similar sub-weapon that creates towering flames.

I seem to remember this one move of Myifee from N3. It was basically the only thing that got me through his story at an A level. Nobody else had anything of that sort. Retarded.

In "Sacred", a Diablo kind of game, equipment could have a value for the property to kill lower leveled enemies on sight. I'm not sure how far you can abuse it but I remember being able to bring it up to being able to kill enemies slightly higher level then me. Even better, enemies killed this way will drop the weapon they are carrying with 100% certainty for some reason.

There is something about riding between towns and watching the hordes of enemies in your way drop over immediately when entering the screen.
