irock
On my next playthrough, I'm not sure which route to take, because of one concern. Do the two different routes have different items you can get? And if you can get different ones, which route should you take to get the best of them? And I don't care about the story of difficulty of the routes, just the items. Knife
Ephraim's route gives out slightly more cash and exp, otherwise, they have almost the exact same items. Not really enough of a difference to make you go one route or the other.
Paper Jam
You get an extra Knight's Crest on Ephraim's route, if I remember correctly. I don't think there's anything else.
sandmanccl
I tend to have better luck on Ephraim's route because you get to use Ephraim instead of Eirika, mostly. He's just a better unit.
Florete
The items are practically identical. I don't think there is anything you can only got from one route.
irock
okay thanks for the answers. As much as I love the chapter in Jehanna, I'm gonna go with the knights crest.
CGV
Ephraim's route because he's cooler like that Edited July 28, 2008 by CGV
TLSothe
Eirika: Cormag and Duessel are weaker, Gerik and Innes are better, and it is easier Ephraim: Better Cormag and Duessel, worse Gerik and Innes, and harder.
Junkhead
You could take both, like one in each save file, that's what I did, Eirika's route is easier than Ephraim's route.
Deity
When I was presented with the choice to take one of the routes, I saved the game and left that saved space untouched. That way, if I ever wanted to change my mind and take the other route, I could do so simply by loading up the saved file. ^^ I like Eirika's route more. Destiny Hero
Eirika sucks. Eph's route is WAY better. Although I DID have MAJOR problems when it came to killing Selena. I just couldn't do it ;-;

Liz
copy the file before selecting between the two lords. then do both at the same time
Dr. Tarrasque
Besides better stats for some of the best units in the game... there's not much of a difference.
Drayano
You can only get a second Rapier in Eirika's route though.
