Things that polled better than the US Congress, now at 9%(the lowest in history):

Nickleback

Colonoscopies

Used car salesmen

France

Genghis Khan

Brussel Sprouts

Head Lice

Root Canals

Replacement Referees

Things that are still polling worse:

Lindsey Lohan

Lobbyists

Ebola

North Korea

Meth labs

The Kardashians

So our Congress is somewhere between Nickelack and a meth lab, seems about right.

I think Meth Labs should get a little more credit here since they indirectly brought us Breaking Bad, which is pretty awesome (though I haven't actually watched a full episode of it yet).

Probably has something to do with how most conservative voters want smaller government, while most liberal voters want a larger one.

Also congress is split, not controlled by Republicans. Republicans control the house and Dems have the Senate.

It's got to be Genghis Kong. Shouldn't even be close. I will argue for paragraphs and paragraphs with anybody who disagrees.
