Have fun! :)

RULES THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW:

No mass Customization, you may custom a bit to make your mug look good/making it work, such as working on shading a bit, but try not to go overboard.

You can use any color palette, you aren't chained to FE colors, go ahead and recolor to your hearts content.

You have to use at least 1 piece of each mug, that shouldn't be too hard.

You may use only the set given, no other mugs.

16 color limit, don't go crazy with your colors. >_> 15 on your mug +1 for background. This might be a bit of trouble for some, so I'll be a bit lenient with this rule. I just don't want to see mugs with like 50 colors with rainbows.

The winner will be determined by voting, if there is a tie, the poll will be edited to include only the ties, and re-voted upon.

Don't vote for yourself or I will personally beat the shit out of you.

Hosts may enter contests.

Only 1 mug per member.

Winner of the contest will choose the next set, but seriously, don't be a jerk and choose a set with all different body sizes/things that won't fit, choose things that would be an interesting set.

Deadline: February 2nd, 2013

eCut's notes:

Please don't publicly complain about an entry looking overly customed and that you think it should be disqualified; it is up to the competition's host to determine whether or not entries are within the rules, not yours. In the case that you do think an entry does not fit the set rules then PM the host and he or she will review it.

I expect you all to follow this rule.

Happy splicing! :)

Entry goes here, right? Right? I hope I'm right.

Marvel at the androgyny!

May wind up using that face and hair with a different body at some point. I really like the style and color scheme.

Swapped it out with a better, less Forde-esque version. =I

I like how almost everyone thus far basically has straight Forde bodies with Zeiss hair.

Make one to show them how it's done. ;D

@eCut - LOL I dun really wanna...

@Dai - Well, there're so many pieces to use. I really don't see why everybody is doing basically the same thing, especially when all of the entries are publicly posted for all to see. You can already see what your competition is, so what's the point in making something just like everyone else?

My main thing is that I wanted to use Zeiss's hair on Fiora, since it actually fit well. I also like (her) right shoulder, and the collar. If nothing else, I can at least tinker with the armor further to make it different.

Well I had to try. xD

I am completely stumped on what to do with the armour too, honestly.

I had a few ideas. In fact, I really wanted to just build around Fiora's armor, but the probem is her HAIR. it makes it so I'd have to do a fair amount of customing, and I know like, full-custom is against the rules, but I wasn't sure on how much custom was allowed outside of that, so I didn't want to risk it.

So long as you don't like, make only the outline and completely customize every bit of shading, then you'll be fine. :P

I told Jelly she should enter because she always makes crazy good splices and they're accepted, so you probably won't have to worry too much (Jelly = #6).

Edit:

Oh, and I just want to clarify that I am not saying that Jelly over-customizes her splices. I fear that It might have seemed that way. xD

...Lady, you just crushed my hopes and dreams with that. XD May as well try anyway.

I'm keeping the hairstyle and face I picked, though. I like it way too much.

There is no reason to change the entire splice, lol. xD

So I'm working on a splice, and decided to go a different method.

I have to admit, I just wowed myself.

Not finished yet, but oh my god... It's amazing so far.

I don't know what to label the gender.

Well I'll be damned, the armor are tough to splice because they're little different from what I worked with with expectation of Forde.

I look forward to seeing it then!
