In fact, in that it can be used for 1-1 mapping without loss of information, in some regards it is superior to hepburn. if you were all up in arms about the ha - wa, why did you ignore the wo - o? But in that case it's added to the stem form of a verb or adjective to describe it. Such as 食べすぎません tabesugimasen (Will not eat too much), or 高くすぎません takakusugimasen (Not too tall).
