How do you use DLC in a run?

Other DLC maps are for after the game is completed.

REAL ANSWER: I'll hit up the special class ones sometimes during the game (or exp.growth/golden gaffe once or twice if i'm trying to raise a unit who's really bad) but most of the time it's relegated to postgame stuff.

EXPonential growth, Lost Bloodlines 2 and 3, and Smash Brethren 2 have been played at least 20 times each, simply for the items and the EXP. I've got to get those Bride's Bouquets, bro.

And on Lunatic, unsurprisingly, you really do need to grind a bit if you're limiting your character count (because I'm just that masochistic, apparently).

I mostly play the ones with skill/class rewards when i want a character to get that reward(s). I use EXPonential Growth to grind so i can get super babies most of the time. I dont play Golden Gaffe as much as you'd think. Maybe about 3 times a run.

A mix of the two extremes. I have bought only one third of the DLC, but with the ones that I do buy, I play them veyr frequently. Especially since I'm having a Lunatic run.

I probably won't touch RR1 again, it's so freakin' hard. @A@; Most DLC episodes, I play only once, actually. Except for LB3 to get them Paragons, and SB3 twice for Iotes Shields for Sumia and her daughter. Other than that, I go on a couple of Golden Gaffe runs if I'm broke and want to forge something, and when I need to train men up in preparation for Priam's Spotpass map, I go to EXPonential Growth, because that experience.

I only use DLC upon beating the game, since it takes away the challenge. Other than that, I usually play each DLC map once, except for EXPonential Growth, which I've played literally over 200 times.

No option for me in this poll. I bought them, but I never play any of them. I might try them out when I get tired of the main game and just want to make a superteam or something.

I generally play most of the DLCs as much as I like(especially when they're the only source of a class or skill), but avoid Bribing Your Way to Victory ones like the Golden Pack until post game(I still haven't got Gaffe or Infinite Regalia).

Honestly I use the DLC depending on my mood and the mode I'm playing on. My 1st file was a Normal/Classic run because I wanted to learn the mechanics of the game better before I tried higher difficulties but it was so ball breakingly easy that I decided to go 20/20 via EXP DLC and roflstomp through the game. Then on my Hard/Classic run I ran through every DLC once, even though I have yet to ever use a DLC character, because I found them harder then the actual story stages and on my current Lunatic/Classic run I plan on not using a single DLC chapter unless I end up desperately needing it because I fail as a tactician or get very unlucky.
