Gold Vanguard
I heard people say Man-ah-Keet Ma-na-keet Ma-na-kee tee What's the right way to say it?
Lord of Gabriel Knight
I choose to pronounce it like a Japanese word. Mah-nah-keh-teh.
Darros
Man - uh - Ket The ket part has always been like kettle for me.
Konnor97
I've always pronounced it as Ma-na-keet. It just flows the most natural for me.
Tao
First option sounds kinda weird... but I think I usually pronounce it like ma-na-keet. As for how it should sound like, I have no idea. Did IS ever discuss this? Maybe someone should question them.
47948201
I feel like it wants to be "ma-na-ke-te" but I always say "ma-na-kit" ("kit" rhyming with "beat")
Book Bro
"Mamkute" >_> But really I say "Mana-keet"
Book of Ereshkigal
The parakeet joke in shadow dragon leads me to think it's 'mana-keet'
bookofholsety
"mah-nah-keet", as in a combination of "mana" (so dulled syllable endings, as opposed to the usual pronunciation of "man") and "parakeet" (thanks FE11)
MasterJP28
Just pronounce it the way its suppose to be... "Dra-gon" I never understood the whole Manakete, Wyvern, Dragon, etc. What's the point? Just call them dragons and get it over with. I pronounce it "Mana-keet"
shadowofchaos
The parakeet joke in shadow dragon leads me to think it's 'mana-keet' ^What they said. Like a "Parakeet". Because they just decided that the Japanese "Mamkute" (or Mamkoot if you hacked and saw the item description for the Flametongue in FE7) was just simply too Engrish. Using the Japanese katakana to justify the "right" pronunciation will do you as much good as you justifying the localization of "Tiamo" to "Cordelia". Junkhead
I've always pronounced it as "manaket" but it's most likely "manakeet".
Ragingrob13
I usually just look at it and go, "Oh another Myrrh-type character."(FE8 was my first Fire emblem) and that is why I don't read aloud.

Faye
I always pronounced it "mah-nah-kay-tay". D: Mamkute looks too weird.
Sasori
When I was younger I pronounces it as Mana ku te since my English sucked back then and I wasn't paying attention so I thought it was spelled like that too. I still call it that way, but now it is because mana Keet reminds me too much of a bird.
The Fush
I usually go for Ma-na-keet. Seems the most natural to me.
Integrity
Ma-na-ket. Similar to Darros's, really.

Topaz Light
MAN-uh-keet. Pretty straightforward standard pronunciation conventions.
BlueFire
TBH, I'm surprised at how many people pronounce the end of the word to rhyme with bet. Since there's an "e" after the "t," I pronounce the end to rhyme with complete discrete athlete.
Ϲharlie
man-uh-keet

It's *probably* strictly supposed to be pronounced manakeet, but thanks to the silly lack of limitations on our silly language I get to pick and choose what sounds best rather than what's logical!
