Many of the freedoms we enjoy here in the U.S. are quickly eroding as the nation transforms from the land of the free into the land of the enslaved, but what I’m about to share with you takes the assault on our freedoms to a whole new level. You may not be aware of this, but many Western states, including Utah, Washington and Colorado, have long outlawed individuals from collecting rainwater on their own properties because, according to officials, that rain belongs to someone else.

I once read about a law (don't remember which country and which city) that forbids people to brandish snakes above their heads when walking near the city hall. I especially liked the sarcastic comment: "good that at least in other cities there are no such strict laws".

It's also illegal to go whaling in the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It's also impossible to do that since there aren't any whales in the Great Salt Lake, but whatever. I also recall hearing things about riding ugly horses and tieing alligators to fire hydrants in other states. There are a lot of stupid laws. This one can actually affect people, though.

law these days seemed to be abused to the point it was more like a "laws in soviet russia" than "the law for justice and you know the rest"
