Tana joins you with 7 str, a javelin has 6 mght...when she promotes, she gets +2 str... 15 x 3 = 45...unlikely most enemies would survive... she has a strength growth rate of 45%...so really, I doubt she didn't kill it, critical-ing and piercing...
