I'm being serious now. I want Lyn promoted to playable, and I want Lucas, Wolf, and the Ice Climbers to come back.

And also, serious again, I got the Bowser Amiibo and the Toon Link Amiibo from Toys "R" Us on Friday night...I thought they didn't come out until February. Well anyway, I got my Bowser to level 50 and now I have an extremely hard time beating him. I guess that means I trained him well lol.

I've been wondering this too. How much will they change Mewtwo, if at all? What will his final smash be? (Probably a mega evo, Y maybe?)

I would assume it'd be because they were planning/considering to make him playable, or at least leaving the option open.

it makes more sense than "oh dark dawn bombed we better remove all traces of golden sun from nintendo products"

it's not like smash games haven't had characters that were planned for inclusion but ultimately left out

By that logic, Barbara, Resetti, Jill, and Ray MK III were also considered playable (and Excitebiker and Helirin, I guess). There might not have been a particular reason at all other than...some stayed, some didn't, and since Golden Sun isn't one of Nintendo's bigger franchises, he was on the chopping block. I've also seen it suggested that they might have considered Isaac's AT effect too similar to the Gust Bellows.

At least Golden Sun still has two songs in the game.

Yes, that is indeed the same logic, if you ignore everything else anyone has ever said about why Isaac would be a good or at least plausible character for Smash.
