He`s managing to get exp for the group he`s using which is good, but he`s using a lot of unpromoted units that aren`t fliers. C7 is a more or less an only-fly zone. And C8 I think will be a total pain. I think he can still low turn the map (mainly by way of Palla luring the generals elsewhere while everyone else just sneaks in, but lame-turning seems tough. Probably have to deal with generals (including the reinforcement generals) head on. He has almost no effective weaponry against the generals. And those things are basically walls, moving walls that hit really hard. I mean he has Caeda, but not Myrm or SM!Luke, and I don`t think he is really using Sirius (although he might be able to be a temp substitute). I was going to offer some advice and recommend forging an armourslayer to deal with the generals, but that isn`t necessarily a good option with only one C rank sword user.

Basically his choice of units (especially with regards to weapon ranks) are not optimal to handle the upcoming maps. I expect some very intricate shifting and use of choke points to fend of the reinforcement sandwich to save the day for C8.

In a time where FE1 Playthrough is almost forgotten, and FE7 playlog did not get update after 2 Month....

Well, this one get a fourth one in span of 2 Days!

Warning: this chapter contains high dosage of butthurt and hype served in a Lame Turn Counts Manner. If you can't handle both, go to nearest FE doctor on a FE Hospital*

Overview:

This is quite a fun map, being some sort of a treasure hunt map, where your movement are limited by the Hero Squad that we will see for awhile.

Limited move zones and tricky situations are what make this game's map design pretty interesting so to speak

Navvare and Feena joins!

As insulting as this sound, but I actually spent a lot of time resetting to rig crit

Which is the only way that my terrible strats making brain can cough up to finish this chapter while also getting the Angel Robe without resorting into fast completion

This will bait the Hunter, and the aggroing thief right beside him

This is why I need to promote Ceccile. Ceccile baits the Dragon, escaped and use a Vulnerary, and healed by Malliesia. Technically, I can simply go with Cleric Ceccile, but some.... secondary goals need the assistance of Sage!Ceccile. The Dragon is dead by Turn 4

For the Main portion of the map, Palla and Sirius + Navvare cleans up the Aggro Silver Sword Thief, Hunter, and then the Angel Robe Thief

Sheeda and Catria moves in

The next turn, the Royal Airforce x4 cleans up the rest of the map, netting every treasure except for the a Master Seal, which may or may not bit me in the ass, considering we get 2 more Seal 2 chapter later

Astram is failure. Of all the people who join with ``holy weapons`` or whatever he is definitely the worst. He will even try to kill Midia instead of auto-recruit himself if she is in his attack range in FE11. He is a confirmed woman beater and the complete opposite of a Hero.

Good job on managing to keep him alive for 30 turns.

Rody more DEF than SPD, would totally kick ass as a General in C8 if you had mixed sets, but I think he could do well as a DK too.

34/15 durability is actually really high at this point

If he actually joined this early, he will downright become the MVP for the next chapter

....which is arguably the easiest chapter so far, so he is not really needed

Also there is no way Rody is becoming General, for obvious reason

See what I did thar

Strats: Turn 1 is nothing special

Sheeda and Sirius flies down, Ryan is put on the range of the Cavalier, while DOGA is on a fort, blowing his MIGHTY AXE to chop the Paladin

Turn 2, Sheeda with Scorpio murdered the Thief with Leo with Sirius help. Sheeda takes the Leo and throw her Wing Spear to the storage

The team intercept the Paladin assault, which is rather easy when you have that many units

Sheeda killed the Mage Reinforcement and dodged, which is pretty fun

Turn 3 - 5 is basically defending against the initial Cavalier reinforcement squad

Wendell with Crest can tank 1 hit from them, which is surprisingly a bro achievement in its own right

I baited Roger at turn 4 with Ryan(which takes 4 - 5 damage from him) and recruited him with Sheeda

DOGA WITH HIS INTIMIDATING TAUROS SHARD SHALL CHOKE THE POINT WITH HIS TRADEMARK DOGA CATSTROPHE SMASHING THE FOOLISH GENERAL INTO SUBMISSION WITH HIS DOGA FIRE AND BURN THEM WITH DOGA INFERNO

Ceccile's healing capability is JUST ENOUGH to put them into safe zone. I switch the tanker with Roger, Wendell(he can do it for 1 go), Sirius, Catria, Marth, and Cain when neccesary

Cain's C Sword Rank is enough for 16 Damage Armorslayer, which..... might be a misplay on my part in a hindsight since Cain MIGHT not be used in the future

Its actually pretty sad, IIRC Base!Wendell can take 3 shot as a general, so imagine the look on their face when Ceccile healed Wendell*

And, including the last chapter, Astram's squad

1. Fooled by the Royal Airforce and did not even manage to gang up on Palla

2. A shooting target for Ryan and Rody

3. Is made to look like an idiot by Sirius

You know, this chapter is simmilar to Battle of Chang Ban in a lot of ways

It involve a chokepoint in form of a bridge which is guarded by an extremely powerful giant dude who'se Axe Lance swings are enough to blow 10 Generals Soldiers away, and they have the ability to fly and lift ten men with one finger. It also involve the protagonist escaping from the place.

Of course, Marth is way more awesome than Liu Bei(who have never been Top Tier, if I remember correctly) and Cain specializes in Swords, not Lance like Zhao Yun

My headcanon says that during this chapter Draug shows MU why exactly he is capable of lifting ten men with one fighter

*In my previous update, I noted how useful Astram would be if he joined one chapter before this. General!Astram have 38 HP, 23 Defense and 9 Speed. At 6 - 7 damage, he gets 5 - 7 HKOed by the Knight below, which make this chapter even easier, and he also take 5HKO with Scorpio Shard

But this game and its previous incarnation was made before IS made the abomination that is FE13 gameplay, so obviously this is not going to happen

Temporary, because I feel like it for this one

Dancer is useful regardless of playstyle

The ability to reach certain places or key units moving twice is extremely helpful, something that is shown in my CH. 9 Strategy(nearly done, but im not the type who like 2 update in a day)

In fact, doing this and the next chapter without Feena in slow playthrough would be HARDER than without Palla because whatever Palla do can be replicated to some extent with Sheeda and Catria

Although for this chapter, she can be replicated by Wendell and/or Arran in mixed class set using my questionable strats >_>

You could've lamed it with Swordmasters. I reckon your Palla, your Ryan and someone else could choke the point at the beginning for like, forever.

Correct me if im wrong but:

wouldnt the normal Legions have like 120 hit total? IIRC, they have like 16 skl in that map. 18 being the best and only the top Legions have 18 skl.

That means like, Swordmaster Ryan vs them would be:

-15 hit due to Weapon Rank Bonus loss

-10 hit because of C Swords vs Axes

+10 avo because user is a Swordmaster

+26 avo from Ryan's spd

+5 (? i dont remember his lck) avo due to ryan's Luck

+10 from Marth Support

+10 from Rody Support

He would be facing like 34 hit. Palla would be a lot worse at dodging though. But I reckon a Swordmaster Catria with Palla and Marth support could do the same as Ryan and face bad hitrates. Idk, it seems possible to just wall them but it would be extremely tricky. Maybe if your Ryan had less def than your other Swordmaster Wallers it would be possible as he could lure them to him, ORKO some of them while the others just take one hit only if they cant reach him. But that doesnt seem to be the case. A promoted Swordmaster Caeda would do well too I think. Idk, you shouldnt have saved so you could experiment with this ;_; I wanted a lame Turncount Ch10x as Ive never seen it get stalled.

Actually, Palla, and Sheeda have around 40 - 50 dodge vs the Zerker when they spawn with Devil Axe

And you know, DSFE RNG is kinda stoopid, so usually by turn 2, one of Palla, Sheeda, or Ryan is dead

Also the reason why I did not try beyond like 3 - 4 turn and settle with that is because I feel my team is kinda overlevelled

This will be one big update for sure

[spoiler=Basic strategy]

What I realized after my run is the fact that Roro will spawn with Devil Axe instead of Hammer, which allows this strategy to work

Dance Horace, and Choke the point

Sheeda, and Palla will take 31 Damage, so Turn 1 Mend on Sheeda is neccesary and Hammertime should be killed ASAP

THWOMPS have the best chance to survive this map. Sniper is too risky because they take more damage, and need more micromanagements. My real first test was Triple Sniper, and a critblicked Palla is stomped

What I noticed in my first test is the fact that all of my units is prone to being crit blicked, especially Palla(who lacks Catria) and Ryan(I forgot if he support Cecil/Marth or not but he has abysmal Luck of 10)

Therefore I decided to use instant Promoted 18!Rody and use him as a Sniper. Rody, with his massive 19 Luck IIRC and A Ceccile is capable of having 0% Crit Rates. Palla and Sheeda faces 5 and 3 respectively

Equipment wise, Palla get Luck and Speed Shard, Rody get the STR and Mag and Leo shard. Palla ate Speedwings so she can double 17 SPD Roro

I sold Bullion S to buy some Heal Staff and Iron Bow and feed Angel Robe to Rody

[spoiler=First Test with Ryan resulted in a failure]

This test ended in failure after I forgot to heal for some turns

What I discovered was:

Elliot mentioned how Roro spawns with Tomahawk. Turns out they will recycle that damn Hammer, just when I thought I am free from that thing

This test last long enough to find out the last, and of course, the most interesting part of this which will be covered on the third test

[spoiler=Second Test to see their spawn method]

If you have been following this run, you will notice that this is not the first time I tried Wallblocking. In my chapter 8, I wallblocks with Ryan and Rody and noticed how the AI did not try to micromanage their unit to attack with Ranged Weapon even when they can't

Which.... is the basis of this test

In this test, I did not bother to kill Roro, so they commit sudoku with Devil Axe

And its slow, but by Turn 18 they started to spawn 5 Roro from 4 Max Roro, all with Devil Axe

Pay attention to the TC and compare with the first test. In this version, they are still wielding Devil Axe, while in the previous test, Roro have started to spawn with Hammer and Poleaxe earlier than this

However, they did not get past 5 Roro on the bottom side

Which means Roro's spawn engine is based off the number of Roro that you killed.

I have not researched HOW MANY Roro to kill until the next phase started though

Finally, we move out to the last test

[spoiler=The Real Secret of this chapter]

By manipulating the enemy composition, I need to get them to have Poleax Roro to attack first before everyone else. Which is what I done here

Sheeda's side was unable to get rid of 1 Tomahawk Roro so that I can make the healing micromanagement easier. They will spawn a Tomahawk Roro right in the place, or move someone with Tomahawk there if they are killed on Enemy phase

Time to disarm and see how much Roro till it stops

Yeah that's the maximum amount of Roro, reached by like Turn 36 because I keep killing one of them. I won't even bother to explain why Lame Turn Counting this chapter is impossible, or near impossible because I can rig crit during the non crazy phase and use a Paladin to rush or something

BTW the final phase is 4 Roro per turn, each wielding Devil Axe, Hammer, Poleax(e), and Tomahawk, all forged

Whelp someone, update the enemy data

If I have the time, I'll try to see if there is a limit to this madness
