Greener223224
Look at things: -A subplot where Seth ends up doing all the talking and all Eirika does is act rationally in the face of missing information -Ephraim gets an entire playable cutscene to himself via 5x -Her plot consists of nothing but watching Carcino and Jehanna turn into a wreck and then getting rescued by Ephraim -She is the second-weakest shroud in FE13. (first is Edward)

Junkhead
>although most the game is focused on her, she is not the protagonist because other people do bigger things >brings fe13 into the argument shutup Also, "shroud"?
RJWalker
Then neither is Leif the protagonist of Thracia 776. All he does is act stupid while Dorias and Agust talk.

BrightBow
Chrom is not the protagonist of fe13, lucina and the mu are. Lucina doesn't influence anything. She doesn't even exchange words with her supposed arch-nemesis Grima. Lucina is a tagged-on marketing gag and nothing more. Sure, she has potential. But nothing of it is used. Like... well, having her interact with her arch-nemesis Grima. Anyway, I do find Eirika's role weird. It's not just about her own quest feeling like a side story. It's that she doesn't actually face of a against Lyon but the Demon King. Lyon is a very interesting character with a good dynamic with the twins. But the Demon King is just a Bond villain. So there doesn't seem to be a point to her story. Edited September 9, 2013 by BrightBow
Lord of Gabriel Knight
A protagonist is the focal character, not the character with the most action. Since the game focuses on Eirika, she is the protagonist. This is like thinking that the protagonist is always the 'hero' or always has to be good. Also, what is a shroud? JSND Alter Dragon Boner
While Ephraim arguably does the major work in a way, Eirika still is a protagonist, as much as the main team >_>
MRDRHAWK
I'm still trying to figure out what a shroud is
mewyeon
I'm confused about the shroud thing also :O If you're talking about weak units, I think Eirika can turn out fine if you help her just a little :)
