Laguzguard you mean. Ike also would need a proc to finish Oscar off (missing a couple HP to kill with forged Silver / 2x Brave Sword), so your most reliable way to get rid of Oscar was probably Gatrie.

Anyway, a switch to Fixed Mode averages renders Oscar and Shinon undoublable by Giffca, and with Laguzguard mindgames I'm sure you'll agree the royals aren't THAT bad. Honestly, Ike's a lot more convincing at combat, and his Ragnell is banned (this ban could be lifted in the future I believe). 27 AS will make Largo viable and enable him to hit harder than Giffca regardless of targets' equips, but with options of braves, effective weaponry and killer critting / skill procs (though none of Giffca's durability), so this level of offence will not be anything unique. Notice just how dangerous Gatrie is with 29 strength and ridiculous bulk, and that's without Ilyana hiding with Shade giving him +3 defence for as long as Gatrie is alive / Ilyana doesn't accidentally suicide into a 1-2 range unit.

More than 26 is only needed to ensure not being doubled by SMs, the latter being cockblocked and destroyed by Brave Lance armours/Makalov (so far only in theory as we're only in our third game, but it's sound enough), but 26 is a must to not be completely destroyed by Giffca (though a Laguzguard turns defending against him into more or less acceptable).
