None of the "extra scenes" they have together are romantic in any way, and serve as little more than backstory for the pair. 2. Sue makes way too much sense as Lyn's canonical daughter, and she's Rath's only in-game marriage option - plus, the manga backs that pairing as opposed to Lyn/Hector. 3. Even dismissing the fact that the manga doesn't give canon support to the pair, the fact that Hector can marry someone who's only recruitable in his mode makes too much sense. 4. Their supports are vitriol-filled at best, and the sudden jump from what feels like a rivalry (that's putting it GENEROUSLY, btw) to outright marriage with almost no jump in between makes no sense whatsoever. 5.
